Life can sometimes be predictable. Sometimes, unexpected thunderstorms rain on your parade and you had no plans to get caught in the storm or come close to a lightning strike. There will always be setbacks.
Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual. It wouldn’t be worth it if life did.
Sometimes days are hard. Everything that could go wrong, seems to. You feel as though it might not ever feel okay again. A number of negatives seem to outweigh the positives. When you feel like giving up, just remember:
Turn to and lean on your friends and family. They will be there for you when you need them. Talk to them. Vent about your day. Get everything off your chest. They will listen and try to comfort you. Maybe they don’t say all the right things. No one ever does - except the wrong boys who come into your life and break your heart with the right words at the right time.
Be thankful for the people in your life who stay constant as a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear. Keep the ones who lift you up, and appreciate your presence in their lives. If a person doesn't want to stay in your life, don't try to make them. It will just make both of you miserable. You deserve someone who genuinely cares about you and makes you want to be the best you can be. Keep the people around who you can sit with in a room in silence and just be content with their presence.
When the good ones leave, it can be hard. Sometimes, the good ones will decide that they want to move on and go elsewhere. You will recover, and you will find better friends, and relationships, elsewhere.
Cry if you must. It will get better. It always does. Maybe not today, but tomorrow is a new day. Ever heard of “the sun will come out tomorrow”? Yep. Whether it is literally (depending on the weather where you live), or figuratively, it will get better.
You'll win some and you'll lose some. You'll give, and then you'll take. You'll love, and experience loss.
Changes in life will catch you off guard. But each time you face the adversities in your life, you’ll become just a little bit stronger and ready for the next time another change in routine happens.
You’ll make it through. The out of the blue U-turns teach you how to be thankful in when the very best moments of life happen unexpectedly.
