Being single isn't something you should be embarrassed about. Your Facebook "single status" is a celebration for more reasons than one.

Take some time and cherish all of these parts of your life that you get to enjoy even MORE since you aren't cuffed to a S.O.

1. More time for your family and friends 

Without a significant other, you have more time for the important people in your life such as your friends and family. And even better, you don't need to drop any of your bffs for a relationship.

2. More time for yourself 

It's up to you to choose what to do with this time but you can achieve anything. You can reach your goal to get in shape, travel more, or focus on your education.

3. No more distractions 

Without love on the brain, you can be more productive at work or in school.

4. You won't have to impress anyone 

A lot of people like to dress up and look nice to feel good about themselves but it can be nice when there's no one to look nice for and you can dress more relaxed.

5. There's still some hope to end up with Zac Efron

I mean he's single, I'm single, what else is there to say?

6. It's all about YOU!

You can do whatever you want, go find yourself, pick up new hobbies, anything you can think of.

7. No sharing food 

You can have a whole pizza to yourself, no shame. Any pizza can be a personal pizza if you try hard enough.

There's someone out there for all of us but enjoying the single life for a little while can't hurt.
