Although I am currently in a relationship, back in December 2014 when I first downloaded the app I was super impressed with the fact that the dating pool was more in my demographic than Tinder. Tinder started becoming a little overwhelming for me. When I would match with people it gave them the green light to say whatever crude, rude, or awkward pick up line guys were testing. With Bumble, the woman gets to start the conversation. In fact she has to for any matches to progress. If you follow my articles, one of them was about being a feminist. I think it's awesome that there's a dating app that empowers women to make the first move and the guys love it! Because it takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there. Especially when you have girls like me writing about your awful pick up lines. I found that the men on Bumble were more educated, had very interesting careers, and let's not forget, more attractive. Looks aren't everything but on a dating app where you swipe left or right based on photos, sorry, but looks matter!

After a break up with a fellow co-founder, she sued Tinder for sexual harassment. Nothing says I'm over you like a rumored $1 million settlement and a revolutionary woman powered dating app; Bumble.
