Do Not Be Dumb

Girls are sensitive, this is no secret

No matter what any girl says we all have feelings and there is always a way to hurt our feelings and somehow even if you do not know you did, you did

Now us girls are not perfect and yes, we can have bad attitudes and can be a little too much but you all already knew that too

So why make these things more difficult than they are

Why is it okay to sit around and toy with girls feelings and keep them on a string

so you can have your cake and eat it too? No

There are simple things that you can easily say to hurt a girls feelings and I promise she won't forget that one time two years ago when you told her she basically was not good enough for you.

A simple text through the day is better than not texting back for three days because you were "busy".

People do have lives and they have things to do but instead of being so confused why your girl is mad at you just because y'all did not text all day, here is a quick fix. If you have a lot to do that day you wake up and text or call her and say "Hey, I have a lot to do today and I may not be on my phone much, have a good day," it is that simple and she will probably be super happy you told her to have a good day.

BUT

If you are still wanting to flirt with other girls, text other girls, "netflix and chill," with multiple girls.... do not try to fool each and every one of them that "you are the only one I talk to". That is okay nobody said you had to be ready for a relationship but let her know you had no intentions to date this girl and do not keep her on that string because girls.. are sensitive!!!!! Always think about if they pulled a you on you.. Would you like it?

Do not lie, that makes every situation worse and that is exactly how your name gets ran through the dirt by the female population

Be honest, again, if you have absolutely no intentions of dating this girl, let her know.

I think in college or even just people in their early twenty's, a lot of them are so caught up in "I wanna party," "I don't wanna be tied down," "I am in college this is where you have fun," yes college is fun and growing up is a lot of fun but you also meet some of the greatest people as you grow in life too so do not rule out that super great girl because you want to go to a party or do whatever you want because eventually that will get old and you will have wished you took the time to hang out and get to know that really great girl.

The best advice to take is be kind and be honest, you can never go wrong with either one of those.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
