10 Things Boyfriends Do That Drive Their Girlfriends Crazy

Stop doing that already and just pay attention to us!

There are so many things that boys, especially boyfriends that just don't understand, do to make their girlfriends super upset. Sometimes, it doesn't make us mad, but it does make us sad. It does make us think that we are no longer their top priority. And maybe we still are, but it doesn't feel like it at the moment. Maybe they just have work to do, maybe they just want to play video games, maybe they just want to watch a show, but we tend to question: why can't they watch it with us? Why can't they let us join boy's night? Why can't they teach us to play video games? But boyfriends, just like girlfriends, do need their space.

1. They overplay video games, especially when they promised they will be with you in 10 minutes

You say one thing and then you do another. Stop having contradictions! Especially NOT with video games. See, I game, but I still say one thing and just stick with that one thing and keep my promises till the very end. I expect the same back, boys.

2. They are always on their phone

Seriously, what is so important on your phone that could possibly distract you from us? I am very needy and want cuddles all the time. You shouldn't be reading, gaming, or watching YouTube videos when you're with me.

3. They talk to girls in front of us

Who is that girl you were just talking to? That you were literally just flirting with? No, nah, don't brush it off and say she is just your friend. See, we don't believe that shit. There is no need for random girls to be talking to you, asking you about homework when she can just as easily ask anyone else. There is also no need for you to extend any conversation with her, even if she is the one that was initiating.

4. When they say they're too tired to meet up right now

We put up with your asses 24/7, especially when you want those extra cuddle moments. Why can't you put up with us when we need you right now? I don't care if we're giving you a headache, signing up to be my boyfriend means you have to put up with the extra baggage.

5. When they would rather hang with the boys than you

You wanna get together with the boys so that you can all talk shit about me, huh? Or talk about those girls that you think are hot and can never get? You think I don't know what you're doing? You think I'm super duper naive? Ha, then you don't know me.

6. Pressuring us when we are not in the mood

We want to be good girlfriends at your service, but some nights, it's just too stressful for us. We just wanna crash and head straight to bed without those heated cuddle sessions that will eventually lead to something else. We won't orgasm from anything you do if we're just not into it at the moment. Sorry, boys.

7. When they don't plan dates

We've run out of ideas by now. Surely you must have something you want to do that we haven't thought of yet. What? You just wanna sleep all day? You just wanna cuddle too? But what about our anniversary? Why can't we eat out or something? I wanna go out with you, I wanna take walks, I wanna look at the wilderness and talk about anything and everything. Boys, stop letting your dicks think for you. You still have an actual brain, you know?

8. When they stop cuddling us in the middle of the night and start facing the other way

Alas, the long nights of cuddle sessions. Personally, I get so sad when my boyfriend turns around in the middle of the night and stops holding me. When that happens, I usually take his arm and put it around me. That warmth is what us girls crave, boys! Start holding us and never let go.

9. When they have to win every single argument

No, this is not a competition. I'm talking about right and wrong here. Stop trying to compete with me, and let's just talk it out.

10. When they think it's so hard to keep us happy

All we need is a pile of "I love yous," cuddles, flowers, chocolates, taking us out, introducing us to your parents and friends, and buying us food. It really isn't that hard. At least, we don't think so.

We love our boyfriends, but sometimes they can be a bit difficult. We can't really get through to them, and we don't know if they're even listening to us. But what we do know is that we will never stop loving them for who they are.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
