It is just a little over a week after the arguably close game of the Minnesota Vikings against the Green Bay Packers in the new US Bank Stadium. As a die-hard Packer fan, let me just say, the sting is still there and my heart still aches after that tough loss. Now, I can only imagine that I am not alone in this struggle for the rest of Packer fan nation out there. I can also imagine that the feelings are the exact opposite for Minnesota Vikings fans. My guess would be that they are still gleaming with joy and pride that their team somehow pulled off a win over the Packers.

The game was a complete shock for many people. It started off strong, mainly on the Packer end, but quickly changed direction as the Vikings began taking the lead over the Green Bay Packers. No one was expecting this. The Packers were (and in my opinion still are) the dominant team…or at least that’s what was predicted. With Teddy Bridgewater, the Vikings quarterback, being out for game, it gave the Packers and their fans confidence and the idea that this would be an easier game. They thought it would result in a win. Unfortunately, they were wrong.

It played out the exact opposite. It resulted a loss--not just a loss of a game, but some dignity and pride were also lost as the Minnesota Vikings (Viqueens, as many Packer fans like to call them) overthrew the Packers and took the W. Having Adrian Peterson out for a portion of the game due to a knee injury didn't seem to help the Packers overthrow the Vikings either. What a tragedy for Packer nation.

Sadly, it was not completely the Vikings' fault that the Packers lost, though the Vikings did play well and possibly better than the Packers at many points, I’ll give them that. It was also the Packers' fault for their own loss as they made some bad plays, gave up the ball multiple times and allowed a few sacks. Come on boys, you’re better than this! I, along with they rest of the Packer fans, know you are.

Now, this isn’t the last game between the Vikings and the Packers this year. Fear not, Packer fans; there will be another chance for the Packers to prove themselves and prove that they are better than the Vikings later in the season. They have what it takes to win and bring home that NFC North Championship title. Until then, they need to rebuild that dominance and strength, and we, as Packer nation, have to keep cheering them on.

The next border battle will ensue on December 24 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We all know the Packers is one of the only teams who is able to play great in the middle winter anyway, which is a strength the Vikings just haven't been able to master yet. Having the home field advantage will give the Pack a one-up that day too, especially with the supportive roars from the green and gold fans and the fact they are playing in the world's best stadium. Okay, that might be a bit of an overstatement, but it is definitely in the top three for the nation. The Minnesota Vikings better watch out, we're coming with some revenge!

Until then, keep bleeding green and gold, Packer Nation, and cheer on your team and they take home W's this season. GO PACK GO!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
