So, you're the girl with the big laugh. You may be a quiet person, like myself, and just have a large laugh or your laugh could match your equally as loud personality. Either way, because it's so noticeable It's become apart of who we are. So, here are seven things us loudly-laughing girls all can relate to:

1. People think your fake.

Since it's often something unconscious, I hate when people assume my laugh is because I want people to accept me. Like, girlfriend, if I really was trying that hard to be everyone's friend I wouldn't be wearing sweatpants. But really, it's the people who do laugh extra loud to be liked that ruin it for us. You know them if you make yourself laugh way too much like me---those people that try to match your laugh and sound more like their screaming rather then laughing.

2. Guys think you like them.

It's happened to all of us: some jerkwad--- most likely from a gen ed---thinks he's a hotshot. He's loud, grody and gives off an overall bad vibe but he'll drop some funnier-than-shit jokes (which he probably found online) that have you, the quiet girl, laughing like a dying chicken. Depending on whether you dress up, this jerk sits next to you or sends you weird looks during class. It makes for an overall awkward situation in class.

3. You disrupt the quiet floor of the library

Whether its when your friend sends you an extra dank meme or that time you and your friends were goofing around town comes to mind randomly---you hold your breath and cover your mouth until you can't take it anymore and just let it out. You almost want to apologize after all is done, but you don't want to disturb everyone else even more. Self-control just isn't enough for your big laugh, to everyone's dismay.

4. You laugh at your own jokes

For some reason, this seems to go hand-in-hand with loud laughing. My dad, who I inherited this curse from, will often be red-faced while his co-workers smile politely sometimes when I catch them having lunch. What's worse, when you find yourself retelling a joke, and your laughing so hard that no one around you can hear it--- until you've finally laughed it all out and after all that build up, the person finds out the joke was not nearly as funny as my laughing had led them to assume.

5. You get singled out

You're out with the squad and you're all joking around--then, wherever you guys are, people start looking at you cause your so loud. All of a sudden, you can hear coworkers whispering among themselves about the loud group of girls and even if your friends don't realize you're the main reason for this label, you still feel a tinge of shame.

6. You get shushed

No matter if it's by your boyfriend your at his apartment while his roommates are home or your friends at a movie theater during a horror movie that you can't take seriously---it only makes you laugh louder. "The shush" always comes as a surprise though, if you're anything like me, because whenever you laugh you assume everyone is having about as much fun as you.

7. You laugh at the wrong times

This the other attribute that gets coupled with "The Laugh." It takes so little to make you "lol" that even the slightest somewhat-amusing mistake made by your teacher or corny joke made by someone behind the counter makes us, once again, bring attention to ourselves with a massive, stomach gripping laugh-sesh; just enough to make everyone all kinds of uncomfortable.

Although these struggles can make for some pretty awkward interactions, it's totally worth having yourself a good laugh.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
