Do you have a lot of retro video games sitting around in storage that you no longer play? Believe it or not, but your video game collection could be worth a small fortune. There are some games out there that are worth a few hundred or even a few thousand dollars on their own!

9. Alien Raider - $12 to $65

10. Vegas Slots - $12 to $30

11. Bowling - $8 to $65

12. Pinball - $4 to $65

* The Microvision, made by Milton Bradly, came out more than 30 years ago and only has 12 games that were made for this handheld system. One of the games, "Star Trek: Phaser Strike, was sold under multiple names. In Germany, Italy and the UK, it sold as "Shooting Star" and in France it was known as "Cannon Phaser".

However if you want to try any of these games, finding a working version of this handheld can be kind of difficult. Plus the Microvision might just not really be worth you time in the first place, unless you are a serious collector or really feel a big nostalgia need to own one. You see, the Microvision had many issues in its design. One of the big issues is that the LCD screen was commonly sealed rather poorly. The liquid crystal would spontaneously leak which caused permanent darkening. The game units could still technically work if this happened, but it made the screen unable to properly work. They call this issue screen rot and there isn't really anything that can be done to prevent the issue. Also if you leave this hand held out in sunlight for too long, that also destroyed the screen. Another big issue is the lack of EDS protection in the microprocessor. If the user opens the protective sliding door that covers the pins, the processor can be exposed to any electric charge the user has built up. If enough charge is built up, the discharge could pass though the door which led to electrical breakdown. The Low Voltage integrated circuit inside the cartridge is extremely EDS sensitive and could be destroyed by only a few dozen volts. These issues, along with others, is why you don't commonly see this retro handheld being sold. This is also why the Microvision can be sold for large amounts if you have a working version.

* The pokemon Mini has 10 games made for the system in total and only 4 of the games were released in USA. I could only find 7 of the games having a history of being resold anywhere online. The locations that these were being mostly sold was Japan, Europe, South America, Australia, and Russia (naming it separately due to debates of wether it should be considered part of Europe or Asia since it it located in both. And depending on who you talk to, you might not even agree on the number of continents that exist which brings another level of complexity to the debate. The number of Continents varies from 7 all the way down to 5 depending on where you are from. In some places, people put Europe and Asia together as one of the continents and call it Eurasia which would probably be the best way to describe Russia technically speaking. However this is not a continent to a lot of people, so the debate and/or confusion continues on.). As for the actual Handheld itself, the locations varied a little more and in most cases, they were sold with a few games. So, finding pricing just for this obscure Nintendo licensed LCD Handheld sold as a alone item was tougher.

* Prices are based off of the game's worth and/or how much they have actually been sold for in the past few weeks, months and years. If the product is sold often, a smaller time frame is looked at and if it is a more rare product or game, a larger time frame is needed to be determined the price. All prices come from past sales on ebay, sale posts on amazon, and prices for the games on GameStop as well as a few game pricing lists. With all this info gathered together, I believe I have given accurate data which I hope some of you find useful in either your buying or selling of games, Handhelds, and game products. I also hope I helped prevent some of you from selling your expensive games for a few bucks online or at a yard sale because that really sucks when that happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
