While these characters may not be real, we as college students can definitely relate to them. We may not be animated per say but we are usually still dramatic, crazy, and at times over-sensitive.

1. Sadness from Inside Out

Breaking down is a regular occurrence when you are in college. You may even cry so much you use your tears as water for your bath.

2. Dory from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory

Forgetting assignments and getting confused is something you do on a daily basis. But at least you are still blissfully ignorant!

3. Gene from Bob's Burgers

Dramatic and fun loving. He is immature and loves to play fart sounds on his keyboard. Sounds like the immature guys I can find on any college campus.

4. Louise from Bob's Burgers

Need someone crafty and devious to help you make money or plot your revenge? Louise is your girl.

5. Tina from Bob's Burgers

Boy crazy and naive? Sounds like some of the funny moments provided by the only and only Tina Belcher.

6. Po from Kung Fu Panda

A cuddly animal that loves food and struggles to work out? Sounds about right...

7. Stewie Griffin from Family Guy

Hopefully, you don't try to take over the world or are still using a car seat, but the snappy comebacks and love/hate relationship with his family can be pretty relatable.

8. Stitch from Lilo and Stitch

We may not be aliens per say, but we are crazy, moody and are a mystery to figure out.

9. Spongebob from Spongebob Squarepants

Driving crazy, loving a good burger and having fun with our best friend. I can totally see myself as Spongebob.

10. Partick from Spongebob Squarepants

So dependent on our bestie and super lazy? Me every weekend...

11. Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas

I cannot find a college student that doesn't love Halloween or Christmas. You get presents on Christmas and frats tend to throw some awesome Halloween parties...

12. Kuzco from The Emperor's New Groove

He loves to dance, be spoiled and is very overdramatic. Sounds like most girls when they meet a guy, date a guy, and act when a guy won't respond to their texts.

13. Kronk from The Emperor's New Groove

A child at heart, talks to his devil and angel before making a decision and loves cute little animals? Sounds like most girls I know. And some guys...

14. Nick Wilde from Zootopia

Sassy, clever, and has tons of swagger? Sounds like most people by their Junior or Senior year.

15. Princess Poppy from Trolls

Dancing crazy, singing all the time, loves to craft and is a princess? Enter college girls.

16. Merida from Brave

Going to college means freedom to be ourselves and not having to settle down. We have a craving for adventure and finding ourselves before we start looking for "the one."

17. Donkey from Shrek

Funny, attatched and loves waffles? We could be the best of friends.

18. Kim Possible from Kim Possible

We may not be a secret spy, but we are still good at getting things done, have crazy parents and freinds trying to claw their way out of the end zone.

19. Peter Pan from Peter Pan

No magic flying fairy around here, but when the realization comes that we have to grow up one day we try to fit in as much of a childhood as we possibly can.

20. Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls

She may be cute (like we all are), but when she needs to she can kick some serious butt.

21. Mandy from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

Sarcastic, creative in her comebacks, and gets annoyed easily? Hello my long lost twin!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
