To my boyfriend's absolutely amazing parents,
Although this is suppose to be an Open Letter, I guess you can say it's more of a thank you letter.
I've been in your lives for over a year ever since Tyler decided to have me as his girlfriend. Although, you aren't my parents I love you both like you are.
You guys are my second family. I know that I can come to you guys for advice about things in life or just trying to keep a good secret from Tyler. (Like his birthday cake.) Not many people my age or even older can say they have a good relationship with their partner's parents or can only say they have a good relationship with only one parent. Thank you for raising such an amazing guy, that loves me and makes me smile like no tomorrow, even if he and I have our ups and downs. Thank you for giving him a great childhood, and so many memories he loves to share with me, like the memories he has of riding in the white pickup when he was little when you guys still lived in North Carolina.Thank you for still wanting me around even though I've done wrong, I'm so grateful that even after that mistake, that could've made you guys absolutely despise me, you guys still like me. You guys are my definition of a relationship, and although you may not have everything, you have each other and that's what matters. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to love your son. You've brought up the greatest guy, I want to eventually have a relationship with your son that you guys can be proud of and know that no matter what happens I'm going to always love him. I'm not the most outgoing person, and I may not speak hardly anything when I'm around, but I'm pretty good at writing things out and this is the best way I know how to thank you. I want to be in his life and yours for a very long time. I'm grateful for the relationship we have. I'm so thankful you let me in your lives. I love you both so much, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you've done for him and for me.
From,
The girl that is in love with your son
