Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Ask Yourself...
Who are the ones protecting our country? Who are the ones who fight off the enemies? Who are the ones who sacrifice their own lives to keep ours safe? Who are the ones that part from their loved ones just to keep us with ours?
Answer? Our U.S. Armed Forces -- the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
So why stand during the National Anthem?
The answer should be clear to all of us. No matter the race, if you are an American citizen, you should stand to respect your home and the ones who have made it your home. I understand there is still racism amongst us, but remember, our U.S. Soldiers do not care what color you are, what size you are, and/or what you support. As long as you legally live in the United States of America, they still put their life on the line for YOU.
I have realized that many opinions have formed due to Colin Kaepernick deciding not to stand during the National Anthem. If you are one of those ______ (insert your own opinion) U.S. CITIZENS who support this movement, either stop reading here or open your eyes a bit.
Our Heroes
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Joshua 1:9 Strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Here are 5 hard truths that should put Kaepernick to shame.
1. Rest in Peace.
Our soldiers and even their loved ones have to fight through circumstances that many of us cannot relate to. It is so unbelievably hard to even imagine the heartache one must feel losing a battle buddy, best friend, father or mother, husband or wife, friend and/or family member. For them, we must stand.
2. Goodbyes.
"It's easy to love when times are easy. It's most important to love when times get tough." They will be your favorite hello and hardest goodbye. Goodbyes are un-explanatory.. there's nothing like it. Whether you're the soldier, father/mother, husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, son/daughter, friend/best friend, it's not easy. If you're not one that has to experience it, you aren't exactly sure of the feeling and the least you can do is respect. For this, we must stand.
3. Only the dead see the end of war.

They fight & they sacrifice for our freedom. For our soldiers, we must stand.
4. Homecomings.
They live for us, and they live for these moments. These are the greatest moments of their lives. We simply must stand.
5. "Every American has the right to stand or not to stand, during the playing of the National Anthem. We are free people."
It is your right whether to stand or not, but above is a Marine, who can't stand, defending for your right.
"United we stand, divided we fall."
With all due respect, all opinions are supported. We are a free country.
