Every year over 100 million Americans sit down with some wings to watch the Super Bowl. Last years Super Bowl was the most watched program in television history. It brings in fans of all kinds and it's coming to a TV near you. This year is Super Bowl 50 and here are the 9 thoughts you had while watching the game.
1. I could totally write a Super Bowl commercial.
2. I'm going to need a gym membership after this.
What do I eat first? I want everything. The Super Bowl brings in a plethora of your favorite finger foods. Do I start with wings? Or the potato skins? Oh wait... There are sliders too!
3. What in the lords name is a dab?
This recent touchdown dance resembles the proper etiquette for sneezing. Yes, it's bizarre but has became the new trend for victory.
4. Wait... what just happened? What's a field goal?
Like I've said over 100 millions Americans tune in to watch the Super Bowl, odds are not all 100 million are real fans. It's okay if you know nothing about football, it's only one day that you have to pretend like you care. Just make sure you don't cheer for the opposing team.
5. When is the half-time show?
Coldplay, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars. Does it get any better than this?? I can't wait to rock out in my Jersey!
6. Did I just pick the right box?
You spent hours and hours looking up the best and worst numbers to have in your Super Bowl square pool. You just hit the nail on the head, better yet, you are coming home with thicker pockets.
7. Should the Super Bowl be a national holiday?
What are the requirements to make something a national holiday? There are tons of parties and food during the Super Bowl. Doesn't that count for something? Being that the Super Bowl is one the biggest days of the year you would think it would become a national holiday.
8. Are we really going to win this thing?
There's no better feeling than looking at the scoreboard and thinking "We are the champions". But don't be too quick to say something like that, remember last year? The games not over till the fat lady sings. Seriously, who are they calling fat? I'm working on it, okay??
9. Is the game really over? Wait... Do I actually have to go to work/ school tomorrow???
Do you think it would be obvious if I called in sick? *Cough Cough* I think my head is a little hot.
