Before you head off to the most magical place on Earth, heed this warning, "You are in for the most incredible experience of a lifetime." However, the Disney bubble can be a trap, where it will take you in and never let you go. So before you start working for the mouse, read these eight reasons why you should be careful before doing the Disney College Program.

1. You’ll be broke.

I’m not talking about being broke because Disney does not pay you well. I’m talking about being broke because you will spend all of your money. All of your paychecks are going to go to Disney merchandise and food. They could have honestly just paid me in trading pins, Mickey waffles and Minnie ears and I would have been happy.

2. You’ll make friends from all around the world and then you leave them.

Want to know what sucks about the Disney College Program? You get to live, work and meet people from all around the world and these people become your best friends. You make the most amazing memories together, and then you know what? You all have to leave! You have to go your separate ways and it is basically the worst thing ever. However, it is awesome to say you have friends who live all over the world.

3. You’ll never want to come home.

OK, so is this really a bad thing? I mean sure we all miss our families and friends back home, but Disney will cast this spell on you that will make you never want to leave. The Disney bubble is an entrapping place full of magic, fun and fantasy. Nothing will ever be able to quite compare to life at Disney. Hopefully your families do not expect you home anytime soon because good change you will be trying to stay down there forever.

4. You’re love of Disney will grow to an embarrassing level.

I am 21-years-old and I talk about Disney more than the average seven-year-old. I know more about the parks and the movies than any normal person ever should, and I own an embarrassing amount of Disney merchandise. The Disney College Program only adds to this level of love for this company. So, do not be surprised when people start to look at you funny for being the Disney obsessed college kid.

5. You are probably not going to like your job.

In fact, you’ll actually love your job. We get paid to make magic all day long. Honestly, what can beat that? Of course, there will be times when the tasks are not fun and things are not so magical, but for the most part, working for Disney is an amazing experience. There is no other place in the world where you get paid to create memories for others that will last a lifetime.

6. You’ll leave speaking in code.

Disney loves acronyms and has created a language all their own. By the end of your college program, you’ll be speaking in a code only other Disney Cast Members can fully understand. The problem is that when you come home from Disney you will continue to speak that way and confuse everyone around you. Seriously, I could write a Disney dictionary just to explain to the world what “DAK,” “MK” and “TTC” mean, and that is just the tip of the iceberg with acronyms.

7. You’ll have too many stories to tell.

I could spend day after day telling everyone about all the memories and fun I had during my Disney College Program. Life is such an exciting adventure while you are down there living the dream. So of course, you will have so many stories to tell! Everyone at home will probably be so annoyed with your stories, but deep down, we know they are really just jealous.

8. You’ll spend everyday counting down the time until you go back.

And I mean every single day. Once you come home, you will spend all of your time figuring out to get back down to Disney. All you will be able to think about is how much more time needs to pass before you are back to the greatest place on Earth. There is truthfully nothing like the Disney College Program. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I wish everyone could experience at least once. If I can give any advise, then it would be to treasure your time on your college program because it will be over in the blink of an eye. Make friends, make memories, make magical and have the experience of a lifetime during your Disney College Program!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
