If 'That 70's Show' Characters Went To ACC Schools

What if they had to go through the college selection process like the rest of us?

If 'That 70's Show' Characters Went To ACC Schools

What happened when they stopped hanging out down the street? Eventually, everyone had to leave the Forman's basement, Red wouldn't be there to threaten a foot in their ass to keep them in line, and hanging out at The Hub had to end. While it's completely natural to be confused when you're a graduating senior taking the next step into the world, Eric and the crew had some killer storylines written out for their post-graduation lives. What if they had to go through the college selection process like the rest of us?

If all the teens of Point Pleasant, Wisconsin had attended ACC schools, I think this would have been there selection:

1. Eric Forman

Eric became a Clemson man!

This is the perfect school for Forman to find himself. Clemson is known for there fantastic tailgating scene throughout college football season. Even though Eric never pictured himself as one to join in on all these activities in high school he rushes freshman year and finds a fraternity with a basement almost as cool as the one he had at home.

2. Donna Pinciotti

Boston College was very impressed with Donna’s interview and offered her a scholarship. Donna’s liberal viewpoints and Catholic upbringing make Boston a perfect fit for higher education.

Bob is thrilled she’s going to a Catholic school since he thinks it will keep her out of trouble. Donna is more excited about taking Women’s Studies classes and seeing a world outside of Point Pleasant.

3. Michael Kelso

Go Seminoles!

There is no doubt Kelso would have found his way south to Florida State. Tallahassee is the perfect town for Michael to continue picking up girls, as long as Jackie isn’t visiting that weekend. Hopefully there aren’t any water towers nearby because we all know Kelso can’t suffer another fall. His pickup line of choice, “Ladies come enjoy some lemon drops and check out my sweet van!”

4. Jackie Burkhart

Jackie became a Blue Devil.

Not only did the school colors look the best on her, but they have the most eligible bachelors. When Jackie isn’t ruling over her sorority, she’s running her journalism classes. As one of the most well-known girls on campus, she will either graduate engaged to the next President-elect or be the next Barbra Walters (only much better looking, as Jackie would point out!)

5. Steven Hyde

Hyde ended up at the University of Pittsburgh. The Steel City is a great fit for Hyde who didn’t want the typical “Ra-Ra” school experience. Choosing a major hasn’t been easy but exploring the city has been keeping Hyde busy on the weekends and sometimes when he should have been in class! Oh well, sometimes life experiences are more important than what you can learn in a classroom.

6. Fez

Fez became the mascot at Georgia Tech!! He may still be learning the game of football but he figures spending all that time around the cheerleaders has got to get him somewhere. Of course, Fez brings a full bag of his favorite candies to each game and keeps them inside his Yellow Jacket costume.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
