Finals are over -- finally -- and today marks the start of a rather popular time for us Broncos. No more waking up for 8 am classes, no stressing over homework, and no cramming for tests. Now is when we get a break from all things school related, even if it is just for one short week. Still, there are plenty of things to do in seven days now that school is off the table. Here are seven ways to spend your seven days of Spring Break.
1. Sleeping!
Whether it's getting to sleep in because you don't have class, getting to sleep earlier because you don't have homework, or simply getting to nap during the day, Spring Break is definitely a chance to relax and catch up on some Zzzs.
2. Spending time
We all know that school often keeps us so busy that we don't have as much time to spend with friends; Spring Break definitely allows for more bonding time with those we care about.
3. Partying
Whether its dancing alone in your room or going out with a bunch of friends, partying is definitely a refreshing change from going to classes everyday.
4. Taking time for yourself
Without the daily rush that comes with school, Spring Break lets you have more time to just relax and take care of yourself, rather than worry about your next assignment or class.
5. Catching up on reading
Let's face it. Reading for classes isn't nearly as fun as reading on your own free will. And good news; you've got a whole week to finish that book or two you've been putting off since school started!
6. Catching up on TV shows
As much fun as it is to binge watch on Netflix in between classes, it sure will be a lot more relaxing to take your time and actually enjoy watching your favorite shows with no interruptions from teachers or homework.
7. Actually going out to eat
Don't be embarrassed, we've all been there: microwave meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's normal for us "poor college students," right? But Spring Break brings the great opportunity to go out and treat yourself. You deserve it!
