This year
is one of the biggest elections and most controversial elections ever. Donald
Trump and Hillary Clinton are both running for president, Trump as the
Republican nominee and Clinton as the Democratic nominee. Both, nominees have a
set of reasons of why they should not be president Donald Trump so far has the
most. He has shown his true colors and has proven that he is not fit to be
president.
1.He is a racist.
He has proven over time that he is racist, he even told his workers to deny African Americans apartments and turned around and sold them to Caucasians.
2.He wants to send all illegal immigrants back to where they came from.
This is not a bad thing, but this country was built off of illegal immigrants and a lot of them do the jobs that we do not want. Also, his mother was an illegal immigrant, and most of his ex-wife’s, and yes they are now US citizens but they were here illegally. Sometimes people come from other countries because they are living in a country where the conditions are horrendous or human trafficking, and drugs are prominent.
3.He is very disrespectful to women.
He has made fun of women for their looks, for example Carly Fiorina, he made fun of her looks while she was running for president. He believes that a women’s place is in the house/kitchen, he said if he had another kid he would give his wife the money and have her take care of their child. Like why wouldn’t you want to help take care of your children? Why would you make a woman feel unworthy of herself? He is clearly disrespectful to women and does not think highly of them. Women will never have equal opportunities if Trump is president.
4.He has filed for bankruptcy at least four times.
How does someone think that our next president could even slightly repair our economy when he has filed for bankruptcy multiple times. Yes, he could be considered successful in some aspects but this shows that he isn’t responsible financially. Yes, he chooses an advisor, but how can we trust him to make the right decisions when it comes to our economy if he can’t even keep his own company afloat at times.
5.He wants to keep all Muslim’s out of America.
He believes that they are all terrorists and a danger to the United States of America. But, the truth is the majority of them do not support what ISIS is doing and all they want to do is move to a country where it is safe. They want to move away from the danger, they want to raise their children in a safe environment, they don’t want to be a part of what ISIS is doing, ISIS is twisting the Islamic religion and abusing it. And, he is trying to punish them.
6.He wants to bomb ISIS (not necessarily a bad thing).
But, how can you bomb a radical group when they are everywhere, they are woven into multiple societies, including ours. There are US born citizens who are leaving the USA to go join ISIS. So, why kill innocents when we don’t know where everyone is located? Why bomb the middle east and kill a lot of young children and families? He isn’t thinking things through logically.
7.He wants to build a wall.
Okay, first off building a wall will accomplish nothing, people will still find a way into this country no matter the situation. And, the fact that he wants Mexico to pay for it is very small minded thinking. You want to keep out Mexicans and you want Mexico to pay for it! Like why would you make another country to pay for something that you want to create? You need to pay for it, and you need to pay for it, without using government funds if you really want a wall that badly. In the end all he is doing is isolating the United States from other countries, and this will turn other countries against the United States. Many countries have already said that they will not work with the United States if Trump is in power.
Donald Trump does not think things through, he says whatever comes to his mind. He makes irrational plans that will not be effective in the future, and he makes promises that he will not be able to keep. He has no idea how to run this country, and goes with whatever he thinks sounds good. He promotes violence and racism every single day, especially in his rally’s. He even calls Hillary names at his rally’s and you can even watch these videos on youtube. He is a disgrace and is everything that Americans should not stand for! He says he wants to make “America Great Again” but in reality all he wants to do is turn back time, he wants to take this country back to a time where there was nothing but discrimination and hate everywhere. Where we as people were not very accepting of others and their decisions. We have a better option, choose the lesser of two evils if that is the way you have to think about it. But, do not choose Donald Trump as president for 2016!
