I am sure that most people have been to a minor league baseball game at some point in their life. If not, well I can tell you for sure that you are missing out on a great time. There is just something different between major league games and minor league games.

Obviously there will be a clear difference in ability but i mean if you really look a little deeper you will see something about them that you don't really get in the major leagues. Here are seven reasons that you should attend a minor league game at least once or twice in your life.

1. The stadiums aren't as big

First off, sometimes getting to walk in to giant stadiums is a great feeling. Other times though it isn't so great. Having to walk up all the steps to your seat can be a little annoying. Another thing is the fact that your seat can be so far from the field that its hard to pay attention to the game. Finally who wants to sit in the nose bleed section just to cheer on a baseball team, unless you are super dedicated that is. Little league stadiums are much smaller and you actually see what you are watching.

2. The teams seem a little more laid back

One thing I have always noticed when go to a major league game is that the teams seem a little tense. They seem like they are there for work and not to do what they love. This is much different in the minor leagues. They seem to have a little more fun yet they try just as hard as the major leaguers do. It is almost noticeable how they have a little more fun.

3. The Fans are more into the game

This one I understand is kind of disputable. Yet in my eyes it seems like the fans are a little more involved. From the on field games to the cheers in the stands every fan is cheering. The atmosphere is different and it feels happier.

4. You actually get to sit close to the plate for way cheaper

This one I know from personal experience. The other day I attended a minor league game and for just nine dollars I sat five rows behind home plate. Some people may be able to get discounts on tickets but i know that at most major league games you would pay thirty dollars and above to have that same experience.

5. The feeling that it gives you

Like I said the atmosphere of a minor league game is different. It gives that hometown feeling that just makes you feel good. It's unmistakeable that you instantly know you are going to have a great night right when you enter the stadium. The love of baseball is true no matter what league you watch but it is definitely aplified in the minor leagues.

6. The food prices

This one is definitely true. For a good meal at a major league stadium you are looking a bill in the range of 15 to 20 dollars. Yet at a minor league stadium you can get an amazing meal for less than ten dollars. I don't really understand why the prices can be that much of a difference but it sure feels a lot better at a minor league stadium.

7. The team logos are pretty cool

Finally the logos. I know that sometimes a major league logo can actually be pretty cool. Yet more often than not this is not the case. Minor league logos on the other hand can be pretty cool. It might seem kind of childish but sometimes i base how much I like a team on their logo. I understand that some people don't understand how I logo can sway your opinion but I can assure for some people it does.

These are only a few reason in my opinion to attend a minor league baseball game at least once or twice in your life. Take it as you will but for me I love minor league games. Whether its minor league or major league though it is easy to say baseball is a great sport. Like the age old song goes "Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks, I don't care if I never get back."

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
