For those of you that are from around here, or will be in the Cincinnati area for the summer, here's a simple list of 7 fun things to do in the Cincinnati area.
1. Go to an FC Cincinnati game.
Hosted at Nippert Stadium, you can't say no to going to an FC Cincinnati game. Filled with chants, cheers, and so much fun, it's so worth the GA tickets - at $10.
2. Go to a Reds Game!
Grab some friends and go cheer on the Reds, Cincinnati's MLB team. Tickets are cheap, there's food, and it's always a good time.
3. Go to Bunbury!
Bunbury music festival is happening this June, downtown in Sawyer Point. This year's headliners include The 1975, Wiz Kalifa, and Death Cab for Cutie.
4. City Flea
City Flea has a special place in my heart, simply because City Flea is where I went on my first date with my boyfriend. Set in Washington Park on multiple Saturdays, City Flea is a wonderful time. I will be at the one on May 20, and I can't wait.
5. Be a tourist in your own city
I think this one might go without saying, but Cincinnati is filled with hidden treasures. Holtman's Donuts, Macaron Bar, Off the Vine Juicery, and Coffee Emporium. Spend a day being a tourist in your own city.
6. Go to the Cincinnati Zoo
Do I even need to mention Harambe? I don't. But I did. So, go. Go see Fiona, everyone's new favorite baby hippo.
7. Cincinnati Art Museum
There are always specific events happening at the art museum, and admission is free! Check out Eden Park while you're there.
