1. Writing organizes your thoughts.
Have you ever been upset or angry and couldn't figure out why? Writing helps figure out the real reasons for our feelings without having to involve anyone else.

2. Writing relieves stress.
The act of writing helps to relieve any tension built up inside. Getting your thoughts on paper can help to figure out what is causing you to feel that stress.

3. Writing can prevent arguments.
How many times have you sent a text and later regretted it? Have you ever wished that you didn't include something in the big rant you sent to someone? Writing things out by hand can help you realize what you should and shouldn't say in a text.

4. Writing can help to plan out your day.
Writing out routines, to do lists, or even starting a bullet journal can help prepare you for your day. It's an easy and calming way to organize your tasks.

5. Writing helps you fall asleep.
Writing is meditative. Some have claimed that writing before bed is just as effective and calming as reading. It tires you out and prepares you to sleep.

6. Writing helps you breathe— literally.
When we write, our breathing patterns return back to normal. It's a great way to catch your breath if you sense some anxiety coming on.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
