It's safe to say that we have entered into the countdown. The countdown til September 4th at 6:00 P.M in Ford Stadium. The countdown til we reign over SMU's parade... again. Less than 50 days til we show the nation what it means to #BeTheStandard.

Just seeing the words "Be The Standard" brings back emotions from last season. The high that we were on after winning the first 5 games of the season by at least 21 points. Sic'em. To the TCU game, where we felt every single emotion in the book all in the fourth quarter for an unlikely win. 61-58. To the next week, losing to West Virginia away. That one hurt. Luckily, it fueled our fire and we were able to get back on the winning steak. Until the bowl game against Michigan State, and well... Let's just not talk about it. That's a sore subject.

Whether the game was home or away, there was always one thing certain. It's that Baylor fans love Baylor football. It's hard not to when you have the whole shebang. From the day 1 fans in the alumni sections with their familes, to the pumped up student section, to the athletes and coaches who make Baylor football well, Baylor football.

Having this kind of support and team, makes Baylor a double-take school. In fact, after wining back-to-back Big 12 champion titles, we're starting to turn heads. If you don't believe me, here's hype videos to prove it.

CAUTION: VIDEOS MAY INCREASE YOUR ADRENALINE AND GIVE YOU MILD DISCOMFORT WHEN REALITY KICKS IN THAT IT'S NOT SEPTEMBER 4TH YET.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.
