6 People You're Guaranteed To Find In Your March Madness Bracket Pool

The best time of the year.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. March: when the weather finally starts to get warmer, school is slowly, but surely coming to an end for the semester, and that small thing called MARCH MADNESS.

It's a month filled with guts, glory, tears, wins, losses, and pure basketball. It's a tradition for many, but you can't keep from noticing the trends of people that expose themselves every year with the tournament.

I'm sure you've noticed some of these people, too:

1. The Underdog

Not only do I attend one of the greatest underdog schools ever, but it's one of the best parts about the tournament. They're also known as "Cinderella" teams. Whether they had a stroke of luck, were just underrated, or played out of their minds, the team that comes out of nowhere and beats someone who is expected to go far in the tournament is always fun to watch. Of course, unless they beat your team.

2. The Basketball Fanatic

This is the person that eats, sleeps, and breathes basketball. They don't just start watching after selection Sunday, they watch every game they can and support their team all year. These are the people who have their brackets filled out with a purpose instead of just picking the one with the highest seed. March is the month that these people live for.

3. The Bracket Buster

It could be your team or another and for some reason, you had them going far in the tournament (like final four material). That's until they're beaten in the first or second round by an underdog or just a team you didn't expect could out play them. These teams will ruin so many brackets and fans hopes, but it's all fun to watch.

4. Mister or Miss Know It All

The "experts." Man, are these people awful. The only basketball knowledge most of these people have comes from watching very few games. But don't let that fool you, they pretend to know everything there is to know about basketball and the teams. They'll brag about how great their bracket is and typically, they're lying.

5. The Bandwagoner

Easily the worst people to deal with at any point in the year, but more so during the tournament. Every year when it rolls around, teams start winning and you see random fans start coming out of no where. There's always "those people" who jump on the bandwagon of whoever is showing the most promise. They will use the excuse, "Oh, I've always liked *insert team name here*" and they'll amazingly switch every year.

6. The Random Picks Bracketologist

Honestly, these are some of the funniest brackets every. Whether they filled out a bracket for fun or to fit in, they aren't really into basketball and make their picks based on the better colors, mascot, cooler state, or better names. But somehow, their brackets don't do too bad.

Whether you happen to be one of these people or not, look around you as the tournament is going on and you'll start to notice them too. If you don't already, partake in the awesome season of sports. It truly is one of the best times of the year, along with great memories and who knows, maybe you'll start to like basketball.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
