Sports, a major factor you need to experience in college. College always has a bunch of sports teams that we don't know existed at our school. But we need to give our sports a huge following. not only in person, but on social media. It then enables the followers (us) to share our thoughts about the teams as well as keep up to speed on when games are happening! Go check out these sports teams on social media and give them a follow!

WWU EQUESTRIANS

Yes, we have an equestrian team. Last year, we sent three riders to Nationals, which is awesome! Go follow them on Instagram at @wwuequestrians to stay in the loop for when they head off to horse shows in Washington and Oregon next quarter!

WWU CREW

Follow WWU Crew on @wwucrew on Instagram to see who is involved on the team and what they're up to! They just posted a cool video of the team rowing on Lake Whatcom.

WWU VOLLEYBALL

Go follow the WWU Volleyball team on Instagram to get a peak at the clinics that they do with the younger generation, as well as game days, as well as any articles they're announced in.

I honestly didn't know we had a hockey team until last year when I went to a game. But you can stay up to date by following them on Twitter at @WWUHockey and on Facebook to know when they have games at home.

Get info on any games. But give them a follow because they need support on that field. You can also find the times for the their games if you are friends with the Western Washington Sports Clubs on Facebook.

Lets give these sports and sports clubs the following they need! We have to support our sports, even through social media. By having a big media following, more people will know about games and what the sports clubs are doing right now.
