So every girl has that dream of how they'll meet that perfect guy right? Well as much as I'd like to believe it too ladies - The Notebook isn't real life and especially in this generation it never will be, so I would suggested getting your head out of your ass and stop pretending like fairy tales are real; not only does it disappoint us to expect that from a guy but it puts a lot of pressure on guys to try to be that for us and I don't think that's very fair. This being said, although fairy tale endings aren't exactly realistic that doesn't change the fact that men still seem to see women as objects and I can guarantee if you try to get a girls attention by doing or saying any of the following things - you will fail.
1. Do not cat call - I repeat DON'T DO IT.
Cat calling is probably the most unattractive thing a guy can do. I'm not a piece of meat, and I'm sure as hell not a hooker so why don't you ask me my name like a civilized person and maybe I'll give you the time of day.
2. Stupid pet names are a no no.
If we're actually dating and you call me 'babe' or anything of the sort than by all means go ahead, but if I'm walking by you and you like how my ass looks don't refer to me as bae, cutie, shawty, etc... I'm not your dog and if we've met once or twice and you call me a pet name it's just clear to me that you can't remember my actual name so bye.
3. Talking about your ex? I mean come on.
Unless I ask about your past relationships then don't bring up your ex. Don't compare me to her whether it's good or bad, don't even tell me about her unless I ask- it's pretty damn simple.
4. There's compliments and over-complimenting.
Every girl loves compliments but if all you can compliment me on is my looks over and over again then I'll probably get annoyed pretty fast.
5. Social media cheating is absolutely a thing!
If we're pretty consistently dating/seeing each other/ talking then the last thing I want to see is you liking a crap ton of girls pictures or talking to a bunch of girls on twitter because exclusive or not - that's just rude so don't waste your time; plus it starts out a potential relationship with trust issues which is just a setup for failure.
