1. Your Boyfriend is a Loser
On many, many, many occasions my brother has expressed his dislike for boys I have dated. The reasons, although sometimes outrageous, are usually accurate. If your brother does not like, or even hates the boy you are dating, it's probably a decent idea to end the relationship.
2. How Good Your Make Up Looks
Even though he has no idea what contour even is, he is able to tell you if it looks good or not. I'm not saying you should base your application of make up off of your brother's opinion, but if you're worried that it might be a little bit too much for a first date then you might as well ask him.
3. If Your Outfit Matches
There's a pattern here that I would like to make clear, brothers are very honest. So, if you're trying out new outfit ideas and you're a bit worried about whether your new brown heels match your navy blue floral tank, ask your brother (it does match by the way). Sometimes boys don't have as much fashion sense as girls, but in many cases my brother knows what looks well together and what does not.
4. If Your Lifting Form is Incorrect
I thought I knew how to bench press, I was wrong. If your brother likes to workout and doesn't mind bringing you along I would highly suggest going to the gym with him. Your brother can teach you so many things about working out that you may not even have known existed. Also he knows all about correct form so if yours is wrong, he can fix it! Basically going to the gym with your brother is like having your own personal trainer. It's lit.
5. You Won't Be Alone Forever
Because you'll have cats, so everything will be fine. Just kidding, but brother's, although sometimes a pain in the butt, love their older sisters unconditionally. They know we won't be alone forever and when we express to them that we think we will, they set us straight. Brothers are there to tell their sisters how wonderful we are and how we deserve the best. They comfort us when we think our hearts are actually broken and offer us chocolate (because boys think that chocolate fixes everything).
Overall, brothers are a blessing. They are there for you when you're down and they are there for you when you're up. Without mine I would probably have terrible squatting form and still be trying to date juvenile college boys. And that would be a shame.
