5 Online Stores Every College Girl Needs Bookmarked

Since coming to college I have developed a great love for online shopping (or at least pretending to put things in my cart to only take them out). And I have developed some favorite websites. These sites not only have affordable clothing but it also tends to ship out quite quick.

1. Lulu’s

Lulu’s is one of my favorite stores ever. It is an online only store but it’s trustworthy and they offer free returns on most items. I bought both my prom dresses from here and they were much more affordable than many of my friends and I knew they would be unique. Since then I have bought dresses, shirts, jeans and sunglasses and I am still obsessed with them. They do free shipping over $50 or $5 standard shipping. They have a range from basics to high end as well as great sales. I rarely pay full price for clothes from here.

    2. American Eagle

I never shopped here in high school so it has become my college wardrobe. Between their quick standard shipping (that is usually very reasonable or free over $50) and their constant sales I am obsessed. I also switched from Pink underwear to theirs because for half the cost I can get something just as comfortable if not more, I also think they have better colors and designs. Beyond underwear though they have amazing clothes. I especially love all their Aerie stuff.

    3. Urban Outfitters

While this is the store I wish I could buy my whole life from it’s not. I go here to get inspiration and then shop other stores to find something similar. Although I love their bralettes. I have this rule that I refuse to spend over $20 on a bralette and they have a great selection of bralettes under $20. It also never hurts to look through their sale section to see if they have anything. Especially between seasons they have great markdowns.

    4. Forever 21

A store I never thought I would like but yet it never fails me. I have bought one of my favorite pairs of shorts here for only $2. While it’s a store that’s overwhelming both in person and online, as long as you know what you are looking for it is not bad. It’s also quite affordable, especially for buying basics that you don’t want to spend a ton of money on.

    5. Target

The store that never fails. Target has it all and if you have yet to see their spring stuff consider yourself lucky because that means you will save yourself a lot of money. They have everything you could possibly need and they have it for you convienently. It might not be brand name but you will be happy with it at the end of the day. And their easy to shop online with too. Whether you need a cute purse, some shoes or a shirt they have you covered. Also their swimsuits are extra cute this year and I am so thankful that I need a new one.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
