Although Target has been around for decades, it has recently become incredibly popular with everyone from mothers to college students. The reasonably priced store sells food, furniture and everything else in between, so it's no wonder America has fallen head over heels in love with Target. However, many of us posses a much stronger love for Target. Here are a few warning signs that you're full-blown addicted to the big-box store.
1. You find yourself going more than once a week.
Bored? Go to Target. Sad? Target will make you feel better. You'll find virtually any excuse to go, and the fact that they constantly update their shelves with new products gives you all the more reason to. You might not get something crucial on your shopping list when you first go, but, hey, that gives you a valid reason to go back later in the week.
2. You need no assistance from the store associates.
As soon as you walk through the sliding doors, you know exactly where to find everything you need. Your local store is like a second home to you. You appreciate Target employee's hospitality and eagerness to help, but you can do just fine on your own, thank you. Besides, you already know if something is out of stock because you checked online before you made your voyage there.
3. You have formulated the best place to park your car in the lot.
Parking too close to the front results in chaos once you have to leave, but parking too far back isn't ideal for those times you have carts full of merchandise. You've found the perfect spot to park, usually off to the side, because there is little foot traffic there among other shoppers and it has a cart corral conveniently nearby. A parking spot truly can make or break your experience at Target.
4. If your Target has a food stand, the employees there know your go-to order.
If there's a Starbucks in your local Target, they have your favorite frappuccino ready before you've even ordered. Whether it's popcorn, pretzels, or pizza, the cashier knows your favorite, and never, ever judges. There's no shame in indulging every once and awhile, so why not do it at Target while you're already at it?
5. Shopping there is more fun than anywhere else.
Why spend a day at the mall when you can go to Target and buy things you never knew you needed? Everything is decently priced and staying as long as you need is welcomed. The mall is great when you need something specific, but going to Target allows you to stock up for whatever life throws at you. An hour or two can feel like twenty minutes when you're having a good time scavenging the endless aisles.
People might call you crazy for your undeniable love for Target, but they're the ones missing out. Your frequent trips truly do pay off when you pull together a cute outfit with their clothing or a room in your home with their inexpensive room décor. Target might just be a normal store for some of the population, but for the rest of us, it's just as magical as Disney World. We do have a slight obsession, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
