Football games only come on four days during the week so you have to have other options when the games go off. Netflix is home to some great shows that include the game of football for you to watch when there aren't any lives games on.

Here are five options below.

The League

If you play fantasy football you'll love this show as just as much as love your own fantasy team. It's about a group of friends who've known each other since high school competing in their own league for a trophy they call the "Shiva".

A plus to the show is that actual NFL players make cameo appearances.

Last Chance U

One of the best Netflix original series made thus far follows the season of East Mississippi Community College. Led by coach Buddy Stephens who recruits the most talented players who often have troubled past he gives them another chance ar making it. With this philosophy, EMCC has become a national powerhouse at the junior college level winning three national championships over a five-year span. Watch season one to see if they complete the three-peat.

Friday Night Tykes

it may only be peewee football but football is a religion in Texas no matter what your age is. These little kids are long away from a chance at the NFL but they play just as hard. They may be small and still developing their skills but they have the heart that it takes to play the game of football.

Blue Mountain State

After the first episode, you'll be thinking that you aren't at the right college. There are only two things that matter at Blue Mountain State football and the parties at the the Goat House. Thad Castle, Alex Moran and his best friend Sammy who becomes the Goats mascots are the stars of the show.

Friday Night Lights

The Friday Night Lights TV series is just as good as the film but neither are what the book is. It's set in Dillon, Texas and the Panthers are led by coach Eric Taylor. The team goes through all kinds of things and have to find a way to bounce back and come together as a team. Every year they are expected to win a state championship and if they don't the boosters let coach Taylor know about it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
