As a new college student, I was so excited for my first football game. The game started at noon, and by the time 12:30 rolled around, I was ready to leave.
Since then, I have begun to learn everything I need to survive gameday.
1. An empty water bottle.
Football stadiums are often very strict on what you can and cannot bring in. If you want to avoid paying six dollars for water when you arrive, bring an empty water bottle to fill up.
2. A handheld fan.
No matter what kind of fan you buy, I promise it won't be any money wasted. A handheld fan is essential to surviving the long hours in the scorching heat.
3. Sunscreen.
When you're sitting in the sun for hours, you're going to need some sunscreen.
4. Sunglasses.
Just like sunscreen, sunglasses are essential in protecting you from the sun.
5. A clear bag.
When it comes to storing all your other game day essentials, you are going to need a clear bag. It's not super cute but it'll hold all your stuff. If you really are looking for a cute bag, you might be able to find one at a local collegiate store.
