Whether you came in as a freshman or transferred, later on, William Tennent was an experience which shaped your time as a teenager. Here are some signs you're a WTHS graduate:

1. Minus prom, Black and White night was the biggest event of the school year

Even if you weren't involved, you at least got out of class for Academic Day. It was all anyone talked about, plus Mr. Beal and Mr. Bassler.

2. BWTV was your relief and time to drink your coffee before school actually started

So many videos, so much time to relax.

3. Trying to get to class in five minutes from the art wing was a struggle

This was especially bad because half the school didn't even know where the art wing was.

4. You remember the failed coffee cart

The teachers still got coffee and scones but no one else.

5. You were always jealous of the kids in cooking electives because they got food to eat during other classes

Especially if it was before lunch...

6. You know the struggle of only one section of certain classes

Sometimes, you just had to choose.

7. Course selection took you much longer than it ever needed to be

Skyward always seemed to have errors or the counselors talked for too long.

8. The only good thing about coming in the day before winter break started was the "Winter Spectacular" show put on by the teachers and staff

Who doesn't like to see their favorite (and least favorite) teachers dressed up in weird costumes doing skits?

9. You know why the talent show no longer exists. RIP.

We just couldn't be quiet.

10. The prom dress drama was real... So real...

The Facebook group could get intense sometimes.

11. Every DJ at every dance was the worst thing ever

It was so difficult to even dance most of the time.

12. You know how much better our dance decor was in comparison to other schools

Student Government and Athletic Council honestly hired an event planner to make the decorations.

13. You remember how the seniors could never organize a real senior prank

Throwing paper off the catwalk? Moving the graduation chairs to resemble male sex organs?

14. Having to explain to people that Black and White night isn't racist

This year they tried adding red? Our school colors are black and white, it's a long standing tradition.

15. The ongoing debate with some about making Senior Sweetheart more like Mr. Tennent

Sweetest girl vs. smart, athletic, talented guy was the usual argument we all heard.

16. Remembering getting out of class to watch Senior Sweetheart skits

Even if they were bad, it was fun.

17. Being jealous of all the kids from other schools who get senior trips

Student government tried but we couldn't even get a day trip approved.

18. Supporting the football team so much even though they weren't that great

I won't even comment on this one.

19. During the summer, everyone got together at Southampton days and the OLGC carnival

Because who doesn't love The Zipper and carnival food?

20. When they put in the Wawa in Warminster, it became our second home

This was especially true when they gave out free stuff. Yum.

21. The rumors throughout high school about the Chick-fil-a never coming true (until this year)

We hoped for so long, only for our dreams to never come true.

22. Senior skip day at the Phillies game

Even though all of administration knew what was going on and the Phillies usually lost.

23. Having AP exams in Johnsville Administration Building because it was "more comfortable"

The building was weird, but at least we got comfy chairs.

24. The ShopRite and the bank in the school still don't make any sense to you

Remind me again why we need a bank which is only open during lunches? When was the Shop Rite even open?

25. You know how much Mr. T loves Hump Day, even though it is no longer cool

Just another reminder that the week was only half way over.

26. The M&M's and mini waters they gave out during AP exams giving you that sugar rush to get through

This was especially the best when they had extras. Just those little amounts of M&Ms made everyone so happy.

27. Staring at the hall of fame outside the gym whenever you were bored

There were plenty of amusing photos from the 70s and 80s to laugh at.

28. If you came in even a minute or two late, you might as well be missing all of first period

The late slip line was always so long. Sometimes you might as well just go get breakfast and come back.

29. Never being sure why the cafeteria was named "The Den"

No one ever called it that, ever.

30. Getting rid of fourth lunch made everyone's world a better place

Fourth lunch was like being on a bad diet, it made you always be hungry.

31. The ticket booth near the cafeteria entrance that was never used

Why did it even exist? They tried?

32. The long walk into the deep depths of Tennent to find the music department

Those ramps were kinda steep, and it could get creepily silent down there are times.

33. Never or barely stepping foot in the planetarium once it was moved to Tennent

When Mr. V left, it became dead.

34. Keystone testing was basically the equivalent of no school for a week or two

Every day was either nap time if you came in or breakfast with friends and sleeping in if you didn't.

35. Everyone knew the struggle of getting a good parking spot for the year.

Otherwise you could be stuck in the lot for ages after school let out.

36. You remember Spike, the security guard.

He was a great man.

37. You hated how the side doors were never open in the morning

You had to trudge through all the elements just to get into the building from the parking lot.

38. Dunkin' Donuts and Wawa were the places to go before school

Desks were always full of Dunkin' iced coffee cups.

39. It seemed like everyone worked at Ann's Choice

If you didn't work there are some point in your high school career, you probably heard all your friends talk about it.

40. Ms. Belawski was the center of your universe when it came to college applications

She was such a sweet lady.

41. You were either obsessed with CSD bowls or you hated them

Mashed potatoes, chicken poppers, corn, and sometimes gravy. I just never understood it.

42. Everyone knew to go to Applebee's after any event

It didn't matter what it was or if you lived in Warminster, you were there.

43. Everyone either didn't like your school or didn't know what it was

The second was usually better than the first

44. There was a slight divide between those who spent all four years in the new school vs. those who were split up

There were so many issues with Old Tennent but many missed it still.

45. It felt like we sometimes had more fires or false alarms than fire drills

Let's not forget the hot pocket fire or the time the dust in the vents made the alarms go off like six times in one day.

46. You totally creeped on classes with the big window areas at least once

You have to admit it.

47. You loved all the Tennent traditions

Even if you weren't involved, Tennent always had cool things going on that other schools didn't have.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
