4 Reasons Why Trump Would Be A Better President Than Clinton

With election day coming up, I want to share my views on each candidate. After disliking Donald Trump due to his racist, sexist, misogynistic, and judgmental attitude, I now think that he is the only good candidate with better ideas. The main reason is because Hillary Clinton cannot be trusted as the President of the United States due to her lies and her criminal record making her the worst of the two candidates. Yes, there are also third party candidates, but due to them not having enough support, they will likely not win the seat of President.

Reasons why I think Trump is the better candidate:

1. He says he'll help decrease terrorism.

Although I think that his idea of building a wall on the border of Mexico is crazy since it will likely hurt our economy more, he really is just trying to keep America safe from terrorists coming in to steal items, kill people, rape women, etc. While Mexicans are known for crimes such as rape, even if you're a Mexican, it doesn't mean you're a rapist and such. Although it could still happen if a Mexican enters the United States through Texas. The same thing applies if immigrants came from other countries illegally.

2. He's always honest with everything that he says.

With Clinton lying constantly, I am glad that whatever he says about issues, people, and his own ideas is completely honest, even though I don't like or agree with everything he says.

3. His ideas for taxes and jobs

The "Trump plan," as he said, will help low-income and middle-class citizens/families by reducing their taxes, while The Clinton plan will only increase their taxes on certain groups. Trump's ideas will help the economy along with bringing more jobs into America, while Clinton's ideas will only make the economy worse by having a lot less jobs for the citizens.

4. Five-point plan for ethics reform

As quoted by Donald Trump himself, "It's time to drain the swamp in Washington D.C.; That's why i'm proposing a package of ethics reforms to make our government honest once again."

As for this plan, he will re-institute a 5 year ban on all executive branch officials lobbying government. Congress will be asked by Trump himself to make it's own 5 year ban on lobbying by former members of Congress and the staff there. He will also expand the definition of "lobbyist" so that the loopholes will close. A lifetime ban against senior executive branch officials lobbying on the behalf of a foreign government is also planned. Lastly, he is going to ask congress to pass a campaign finance reform that prevents foreign lobbyists who are already registered from raising money in American elections. Not only will this plan end government corruption, but it will end the economic stagnation.

Since most politicians lie and don't end up doing what they say they are going to do, I still have my hopes that Donald Trump will be a better president than Hillary Clinton. So far Clinton has the most polls in the election, so it is likely she will win, but if she does, I hope she changes her ways and actually does good to America along with leaving behind her ways of corruption. Whether you're a Trump or Clinton supporter, or if you don't like or support either one, I still respect your opinions.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
