To my loving fiancé,

Thank you for always being there for me when times got tough. Thank you for working through things with me. Thank you for loving me when I did not deserve it. And thank you for being you. These are just a few of the trillions of characteristics of you that I adore.

Your love for Jesus

Your heart

Your authenticity in every task you approach

Your smile

The way you allow me to steal every piece of clothing that you own

Your angelic singing

Your laugh

Your genuine prayers

Your excitement to show me the things that you've been working on

Your encouragement to me to never give up on anything, including myself

Your ability to make me feel beautiful

The excitement that shows on your face when you see me from a distance

Your love of sweets, which is even more extreme than mine

Your comfortability around me

Your love for animals

Your ever-prevailing acceptance of me

Your cuddles

Your consistent willingness to watch movies/TV shows that I want to watch

Your manners

Your love of family time

Your respect for my need of family time

The way you look at me

Your fun-loving spirit

Your desire to tell everyone that you meet about me

Your desire for teamwork in our relationship

Your comfort for me whenever I am down

The way you strive to improve our relationship every day

The fact that I finally found another old soul like mine

Your desire to cheer me up

Your perseverance even when times are tough

Your ability to forgive

Your helpful mindset

Your humble mind

Your compassionate, giving attitude

Thank you for being a role model to me and displaying the love of Christ in a way that I will always strive to do. I love you with my whole heart.

Love always,

Erin

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
