32 Things You Know To Be True If You're Always Cold

You all know at least one person that always complains of being cold no matter what the weather is like or what the temperature it is in your house. Well, for those of you who are that person who is always cold, I'm sure some of these ring true for you. There's one for every degree you're freezing!! (Get it 32, like 32 degrees, you know, the temperature at which things freeze?! Haha!)

1. Blankets are a must for bedtime, homework, and lounging around.

You need one all the time, doesn't matter where you are. If there's not one on you, there's one within reach.

2. You play the dangerous game of blankets and space heaters close to each other.

Even though your parents have always told you not to, and the box says, in big letters, to keep the space heater at least 5 feet away from flammable material, you're cold! You're not just going to sit there and occasionally get a whiff of heat, you're going to get as close as you can to it.

3. Sweatshirts are year round.

Sometimes it gets a little chilly in the Spring and Summer. Also, you might steal your boyfriend's hoodie, not just to be cute, but because you're actually cold.

4. No one asks you anymore if you think it's hot.

If they've known you for a while, they already know what your response will be so they don't even ask.

5. You don't run the AC in the car unless you have other passengers, or it's been sitting in the sun all day.

Maybe you just roll the windows down, or turn it on the lowest setting, but you don't feel the need to blast it.

6. The struggle of wanting to go barefoot but knowing you'll get even colder.

You may really like to go barefoot, but you know that one of the most sensitive spots in terms of feeling and determining temperature is your feet, which will make you so much colder than you already are.

7. People roll their eyes when you say it's cold but it's really not.

They don't care if you see either.

8. Goosebumps at random points in the day.

You might be sitting at home or in class, or walking outside, or just doing anything and boom, you have goosebumps.

9. The first 20 minutes of sitting on leather furniture.

Leather takes a while to adjust to your body temperature so those first 15 to 20 minutes are brutally cold.

10. Your teeth chatter even when it's not really that cold.

It's just natural.

11. It's REALLY hard to get out of bed in the morning.

It's so warm, why would anyone want to leave?

12. Your nose, hands, and feet always seem cold to you.

They do, and you always ask people if you feel cold to them.

13. Cuddling is GREAT.

You get the warmth of someone else, and for some reason they're so much warmer than you.

14. Hot beverages are the best.

Apple cider, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, literally anything warm to drink is amazing!

15. Hot showers.

If you're cold and bored what better to do than take a nice hot shower. I'm talking the "leaves red patches on your skin" hot, ugh yes!

16. Summer is your favorite season.

It's so warm, and lovely, and the sun just makes everything better.

17. Wind is not your friend.

The wind makes everything colder, regardless if it's a southern wind.

18. You rub your hands together...a lot.

You seriously do it all the time.

19. You makeshift blankets.

Coats, pillows, animals, people — you can make a blanket out of pretty much anything.

20. Fuzzy Slippers.

You own at least one pair, and you've thought about going to the store in them at least once.

21. Warm food vs. cold food.

You would much rather have warm food opposed to cold because warm food gives off heat while the cold food makes you colder.

22. You dread walking down the frozen food aisle or the produce section at the store.

For some reason, the aisles are colder in the produce section, and the breeze from the frozen food aisle is so cold.

23. You dream of heated tile.

You might have experienced it before, but if you haven't, it is heavenly. Maybe not through your whole house, but definitely in the bathroom.

24. Campfires/Bonfires are your forte.

Seriously, you love these! You're also the person who gets a little closer than everyone else does to the fire.

25. You dislike Winter and snow.

It's pretty the first three times, but then the snow just gets old. Not to mention, it seems to make everything colder, as if Winter weren't cold enough.

26. Your dream house includes a hot tub.

It doesn't matter if it's Winter or Summer, that hot tub will be used year round.

27. Drinking cold liquids sends chills down your spine.

You don't really have a choice, it's either gotta be cold or hot, not room temperature.

28. You shake, all the time.

Whether or not this shake or shiver is visible differs at times, but it's always on the inside.

29. You whisper "it's so cold in here" to the people sitting around you at least four times during class.

And it's usually the same people too, sorry.

30. Being sick is awful because, chills.

You're already cold when you feel good, but when you're sick you automatically get ten times colder.

31. Heated seats are a must in your car.

If you have to deal with Winter, why not deal with it with heated seats in your car?

32. You literally crave warmth.

All you care about is being warm.

So whether you're a person who is always cold, or if you know of someone, you have definitely experienced some of these. To everyone, stay warm!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
