Being a college student is hard. Believe it or not, college is hard. You have your classes, any internships, a job if you need to earn money (which we all need), and somewhat of a social life. Sometimes I don't even have time to keep up with this week's Bachelor or figure out any conspiracy theories about Kylie Jenner! But there are many small things that can improve a college student's day. They aren't major life happenings, but the small things in life (in college) are probably the most important because that's what contributes to your day-to-day happiness, which in turn, contributes to your overall well-being.
2. A venti iced coffee.
3. Or any coffee, really.
4. A bagel from Bruegger's.
5. Class canceled.
6. Finding your Chapstick that you lost a month ago.
7. Puppies.
8. Seeing your BFF after a long winter break.
9. When your professor says that's not mandatory.
10. When Netflix adds new episodes to your favorite show.
11. Wine.
13. When the line at your favorite dining hall is SHORT.
14. Having fresh, clean laundry.
15. Hearing the professor say "the exam is open notes and online."
16. Your friend tags you in some dank memes.
17. When you go to a party and remember when you get home to take your makeup off.
18. When your friend says "let's go get ice cream."
19. Calling your mom (makes her day too).
20. When the really attractive guy sits down next to you in class and starts talking to you.
21. Benny's.
22. Watching a feel-good movie on Netflix in the comfort of your own bed.
23. Waffle fries at Chick-fil-A...
24. ... and Chick-Fil-A lemonade.
25. Walking a dog.
26. Getting an A on that exam you thought were gonna fail.
27. When you thought you were gonna be hungover the next morning but woke up feeling absolutely fine.
28. When the person behind you in line swipes for you (the real MVP).
29. Diet Coke.
30. Remembering Obama as president.
31. Watching the sunset on your campus.
