Ah, yes. Showering.

Something everyone (hopefully) does. It's a time of relaxation, personal concerts, and conversations we wish we had. Don't deny it, we all know that we all do these things and it is okay.

Thinking of comebacks to earlier conversations, interviews with celebrities — your thoughts get lost in the mix of all of this. Through these questions and ideas and thoughts, we have a good shower.

1. Do I really need to shower? Agh, yes I do. My hair is super greasy that I could fry something with the amount of oil it has on it.

2. What is shampoo?

3. Who even named it 'shampoo'?

4. Oh god, what was that noise?

5. If it is a murderer, who would go to my funeral?

6. Wait! I'm naked. I don't want to be found naked by the police when I get murdered.

7. Would anyone even know I died with the bathroom door locked?

8. I love this song.

9. I should definitely try out for American Idol.

10. What am I even doing today?

11. Have I always had so much hair on my head?

12. The water is getting cold, maybe I should get out?

13. Ah, that's better. The water is super hot now.

14. How many people have showered in this shower?

15. Is it healthy for this much hair to fall out?

16. How do celebrities look so sexy in a shower? I look like a wet dog. Ha, I am a wet dog.

17. Have my legs always been this hairy?

18. What am I even going to wear? Can I go naked?

19. I wonder how many notifications I have. Who am I kidding, my phone is as dry as I was before this shower.

20. Why does this shower curtain ALWAYS touch me? No no no please stay where you are. Stop touching me. GROSS.

22. My fingers are so pruney they look like raisins.

23. How much water have I used?

24. Isn't getting clean so much fun?

25. Welp, it's been about two hours in the shower, I guess it is time to get out.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
