2016 NFL Draft: Round 1

Am I the only one who loves to watch the NFL Draft? I personally enjoy it a lot. It's something to look forward to. The 2016 NFL Draft was interesting, to say the least. Here are the picks in the first round of the NFL Draft.

1. Los Angeles Rams: QB Jared Goff

Patience, Rams fans. Maybe one day he will be a decent quarterback for your franchise.

2. Philadelphia Eagles: QB Carson Wentz

Personally, at first I wasn't too happy about this pick, but the more I read about the kid, I started to like what he can bring to the Eagles. He's an underdog, and Philadelphia is known to make underdogs champions.

3. San Diego Chargers: DL/LB Joey Bosa

This kid destroyed Penn State's O-line. This guy will have a bright future.

4. Dallas Cowboys: RB Ezekial Elliot

Thank you Dallas Cowboys, for making the Eagles look extra good!

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: DB Jalen Ramsey

This is who I wanted the Eagles to pick. Oh well, they can have him.

6. Baltimore Ravens: OL Ronnie Stanley

They might now have the most intelligent O-line in the league.

7. San Francisco 49ers: DL DeForest Buckner

Another Oregon selection? Really, Chip?

8. Tennessee Titans: OL Jack Conklin

No excitement with this pick, whatsoever.

9. Chicago Bears: LB Leonard Floyd

A classic boom-bust pick.

10. New York Giants: CB Eli Apple

Apple to the "Big Apple." How about that?

11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: CB Vernon Hargreaves III

Much needed pick for them.

12. New Orleans Saints: DL Sheldon Rankins

They are still trash, so this pick won't make a difference any time soon.

13. Miami Dolphins: OL Laremy Tunsil

This guy is huge. Should have been the first O-line taken in the draft.

14. Oakland Raiders: S Karl Joseph

Should have gotten someone else.

15. Cleveland Browns: WR Corey Coleman

This franchise needs some serious help.

16. Detroit Lions: OL Taylor Decker

Decker is a throwback.

17. Atlanta Falcons: SS Keanu Neal

This guy can hit. I'm shocked he got picked this early in the draft.

18. Indianapolis Colts: C Ryan Kelly

A center? Really?

19. Buffalo Bills: DL Shaq Lawson

Shaq! Bills got lucky with this pick.

20. New York Jets: LB Darron Lee

Wow, the Jets managed to get another horrible first round pick.

21. Houston Texans: WR Will Fuller

Looks like Brock Osweiler found his new best friend.

22. Washington Redskins: WR Josh Doctson

The Redskins' offense is evolving, and I don't know how I feel about that.

23. Minnesota Vikings: WR Laquon Treadwell

This makes too much sense.

24. Cincinnati Bengals: CB William Jackson III

The Bengals have invested a lot in their secondary.

25. Pittsburgh Steelers: CB Artie Burns

Damn, this is hilarious. Sucks to suck.

26. Denver Broncos: QB Paxton Lynch

A quarterback?

27. Green Bay Packers: DL Kenny Clark

The Packers have a history of taking front-seven defenders in the first round.

28. San Francisco 49ers: OL Joshua Garnett

Sorry, but I'm not amused with this pick. Good job, Chip.

29. Arizona Cardinals: DL Robert Nkemdiche

Cool last name, bro.

30. Carolina Panthers: DT Vernon Butler

Carolina is now stocked at defensive tackle.

31. Seattle Seahawks: OL Germian Ifedi

Disapointed. Usually the Seahawks gamble.

Well, there you have it, folks. First round in the books.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
