With just one week left until I move back to school, I've begun to appreciate life at home a little more than usual. More specifically, the ability to drive my own (*cough my mom's cough*) car down winding back roads on beautiful sunny days. There's nothing better than having the windows down and the music all the way up and screaming the lyrics to throwback songs you know all too well. Here are my top 20 throwback jams to listen to in your car before you go back to school.

20. "Beautiful Soul" - Jesse McCartney

Arguably one of the best songs to serenade the car next to you to at a red light.

19. "One Time" - Justin Bieber

The sweet sound of prepubescent baby Biebs never gets old #bieberfever.

18. "Dirty Little Secret" - All American Rejects

I swear this song is in every 2000s teen rom-com ever and also lets me pretend I'm pop-punk.

17. "Rock Your Body" - Justin Timberlake

I have very strong feelings about this being Justin's best song to date. Don't @ me.

16. "Kiss Me" - Sixpence None The Richer

One of my favorite songs of all time, this romantic classic sounds like magic and summer sunsets (if they had a sound) and will definitely be played at my wedding.

15. "Crazy In Love" - Beyoncé

Beyoncé. Enough said.

14. "Come Clean" - Hilary Duff

I don't know about you but 5-year-old me and 20-year-old me never gets tired of screaming "LET THE RAIN FALL DOWN AND WAKE MY DREAMS LET IT WASH AWAY MY SANITY CAUSE I WANNA FEEL THE THUNDER I WANNA SCREAM LET THE RAIN FALL DOWN IM COMIN CLEAN"

13. "SOS" - The Jonas Brothers

"Next time I see you I'm giving you a high five 'cause hugs are overrated just FYI" is the best burn of our generation.

12. "Our Song" - Taylor Swift

I somehow adapt a thick country accent every time I sing this song and I'm not mad about it

11. "Sk8r Boi" - Avril Lavigne

This song transports me back to my one-day emo phase and I'm living for it.

10. "Ironic" - Alanis Morissette

IT'S LIKE RAAAIIIIINNNNN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY.

9. "So Yesterday" - Hilary Duff

Every throwback playlist needs an angsty breakup song.

8. "Stacy's Mom" - Fountains of Wayne

I never realized how wrong this song was until I got older but the song is still just as good.

7. "Juliet" - LMNT

If you don't know this song, stop everything and go listen to it. It's such a slept on jam.

6. "...Baby One More Time" - Britney Spears

Old school Britney will never not make me feel like a pop diva in a Catholic school girl uniform

5. "Wannabe" - The Spice Girls

Again, an iconic chorus that I'll always want to scream and a rap I actually know all the words to (it's my party trick).

4. "Tide is High" - Atomic Kitten

Such a feel good song from such a feel good movie ("The Lizzie McGuire Movie" for those of you that are uncultured).

3. "A Thousand Miles" - Vanessa Carlton

Power. Ballad.

2. "Why Not" - Hilary Duff

If you can't tell, I have a thing for Hilary Duff.

1. "Unwritten" - Natasha Bedingfield

Definitely, the best song to sing at the top of your lungs in your car. Don't believe me? Try listening to it and not screaming "FEEL THE RAIN ON YOUR SKIN NO ONE ELSE CAN FEEL IT FOR YOU ONLY YOU CAN LET IT IN...."

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
