You’ve had your outfit planned for three weeks and bought your champagne on Wednesday. Wells Fargo tailgates are like Christmas morning for us Villanova students, and beating Georgetown this weekend was just as glorious as opening that new Kate Spade bag on December 25th.
Here’s 20 thoughts that run through every students head during a Wells Fargo gameday.
1. Oh my god, this is so early. Way earlier than I’ve woken up all semester. Way earlier than my 830s.
2. Okay, but its for the sake of drinking. I can do it.
3. Thank god my roommate bought us all bagels for the ride there.
4. Think I can fill my beer before taking my seat on the bus?
5. Yeah, let’s do a shot to start off this morning.
6. Wait, how many people actually plan on going into the game?
7. Ah, I haven’t seen all these people since they graduated. Thank God they’re back.
8. These alums are here and still having fun, that gives me hope for my post grad life.
9. Don’t wanna think about that now. Let’s shotgun.
10. This bathroom line needs to be shorter.
11. Ah, few things are better than drinking in a parking lot.
12. Yes, obviously I want another glass.
13. We better beat Georgetown.
14. “Are you guys going into the game?”
15. Pretty sure my roommates dad just watched me do a keg stand.
16. People are definitely starting to go in, guess that makes sense it is almost halftime.
17. I wonder how bad the line is at Xfinity.
18. Has anyone seen my phone?
19. How about my wallet and jacket?
20. Yes, yes we are definitely rallying later.
