As the world shed many collective tears as one of the greats passed away, we look on to some of the few memories we were fortunate enough to have. Muhammad Ali wasn't just the greatest heavyweight boxer, but also an inspiration to us all. If we can continue to live by the words he left us, we can possibly work towards a peaceful world full of people who follow their dreams. Although most of us know the infamous quote: "float like a butterfly. Sting like a bee. You can't hit what your eyes don't see," there are 19 more quotes that we should all keep in mind.

When you need motivation:

"Don't count the days; make the days count."

"If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it - then I can achieve it."

"It isn't the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out; it's the pebble in your shoe."

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a face. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing."

"He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life."

"A man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life."

"I hated every minute of training, but I said 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.'"

"Live everyday as if it were your last because someday you're going to be right."

"It's lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges, and I believed in myself."

"I know where I'm going and I know the truth, and I don't have to be what you want me to be. I'm free to be what I want."

"Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last minute stamina. They have to be a little faster. They have to have the skill and the will. But, the will must be stronger than the skill."

"It's the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen."

Other quotes- between helping others, seeing equality, and life lessons:

"Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth."

"Hating people because of their color is wrong, and it doesn't matter which color does the hating. It's just plain wrong."

"Friendship is not something you learn in school. But, if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything."

"Silence is golden when you can't think of a good answer."

"I've made my share of mistakes along the way, but if I have changed even one life for the better, I haven't lived in vain."

And if you're really just feeling confident, as we all know Ali usually felt:

"It's hard to be humble when you're as great as I am."

"It's not bragging if you can back it up."

Muhammad Ali wasn't just a legend in the ring, but also in all of our hearts and has left an impact on all of us. The news comes as a huge heartbreak to not just sports fans, but everyone in general.

R.I.P Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. aka Muhammad Ali (January 17, 1942 - June 3, 2016)

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
