There are just some things that introverts deal with that extroverts will never understand. It's okay to be the quiet and reserved one. It's also okay to want alone time. It's definitely okay to plan out your day so you have as few (draining) social interactions as possible. Here are just some of the many things that introverts go through on a daily basis.

1. You have to prepare yourself mentally before you go into crowded places.

2. You mentally prepare a conversation when you know that you're going to have to talk to someone.

3. You choose a night in over a night out 98 percent of the time.

4. If you do go out, you can only be there for a certain amount of time before you need to go home and recharge.

5. You pray that you get someone's voicemail so that you can just leave the perfectly planned out message that you have already have written down.

6. You change your walking direction just so that you don't have to walk by a bunch of people.

7. You choose to eat dinner super early so that you can avoid the crowd.

8. You want to be invited to go to things, but you don't actually want to go.

9. When you do get invited, you're already listing all of the reasons why you can't go in your head.

10. You think about what you're going to say in a discussion for so long that they've already changed topics by the time that you're ready to talk.

11. When you get called on in class, you get so flustered that you forget every possible answer.

12. You pretend to text in almost every social situation in order to avoid human interaction.

13. You're always getting asked why you're so quiet.

14. You ignore phone calls and then text a response.

15. You excel in small social groups.

16. You still love yourself even after reading this and realizing that you may have some serious social anxiety issues.
