It's a pretty universally known fact that Olympic gymnastics is the craziest sport to watch, regardless of your knowledge about the sport. Every four years, the skills get harder, the competition even tougher, and the commentary all the more absurd. Here's what you're probably thinking while watching these Olympians do their thing.
1. Alright, gymnastics, cool, I did that when I was little, let's check it out.

3. Oh Gabby Douglas I remember her! Probably still the best in the world, things don't change that much in four years, right?
4. THINGS DO CHANGE, WHO IS THIS SIMONE BILES GIRL AND IS SHE A REAL HUMAN BEING???!?
5. HOW DOES SOMEONE PHYSICALLY JUMP THAT HIGH I DON'T UNDERSTAND. SIMONE PLEASE EXPLAIN.
6. Commentators also agree that she may not be human, so at least I'm not alone.

8. Psh, balance beam, I could totally do that.
9. Update: there is no way in hell I could do a literal twisting backflip on an inch-wide beam. Like this Olympic level chick feel on her butt so I would basically be dead.
10. Update: Simone Biles said her balance beam was "the worst routine all week" and she still beat everyone by 4 points. #same
11. Uneven bars, I don't understand how someone came up with you and made you a part of this sport. In fact, all of this sport, where did you come from?
12. The commentators have just said this girl has made a HUGE mistake on bars. I've rewinded three times and still see nothing wrong.
13. THAT GIRL LITERALLY JUST SWUNG AROUND THE BAR, LET GO, FLYING OVER THE BAR, AND CAUGHT IT AGAIN. I CAN BARELY DO A PUSHUP I MEAN COME ON.
14. Whenever I see vault, I always think of that scene in Stick It where Hayley just goes, "If you like to run as fast as you physically can towards the stationary object, vault is for you!" #TOOMUCHROCKFORONEHANDBABY
