So its been 4 or 5 years at the loveliest village on the plains, and you have experienced the Auburn family and probably rolled Toomer’s corner before as well. The experiences vary from person to person, but here are 10 things that every current Auburn senior just knows.

1. Freshman year football season made us true Auburn fans

Fresh off of a National Championship win, the expectations of Auburn football were pretty high. Cam set a precedent that was nearly impossible to follow. But we didn’t know what was about to hit us. With just 2 wins, and none of those being in the SEC, we thought we were doomed to have a horrific football experience; but we still loved Auburn football at the end of the day. This definitely made us look at the bright side of things for the next year.

2. Terrell dining

I don’t believe you've truly experienced freshman year if you didn’t go to Terrell Dining in the Hill at least once. For those that lived in the Hill, you know it all too well. This dingy, poorly lit “cafeteria” was the only option for those in the Hill, and the day Taco Truck made its home there was absolutely life changing

3. The understanding that the freshman 15 is real

No matter how much you think it will not happen to you, it does. Now, maybe not actually 15 pounds, but definitely the late night roomie food runs and the bi-weekly pledge parties will begin to show.

4. The friends you make freshman year are probably still your friends today

You meet so many new people your freshman year, and those that you become really close with are probably still your friends today. If they went through the emotional rollercoaster of freshman year with you then they're bound to stick with you through it all. You should probably thank them for that right now, too.

5. Sophomore year football season aged us about 10 years

Entering in the next season of football, we were realistically hopeful. A new head coach and raw talent were on our side, but that two-win season was still looming over our heads. We had no clue we were on our way to the National Championship with just one loss.

6. LSU Game 2013

This was our only loss and with it being relatively early in the season and our first big game, we thought we were in for it again this year. We thought those earlier wins were just luck and that our season was over. Little did we know we were in for the best season ever.

7. Georgia Game 2013

We only had one loss entering this game, and with Georgia having a pretty good season thus far, we knew this was a true trial to our future. As usual the game was back and forth and we were losing up until the end, then this first of two amazing finishes occurred: Last minute hail mary down the field tipped by two Georgia players into the hands of Ricardo Louis who with ease turned it into a game-winning touchdown.

8. AUBURN IS GOING TO WIN THE FOOTBALL GAME

The Iron Bowl was the ultimate showdown. Alabama entered the game with the thought that they just needed this win to make it to the National Championship and that it was attainable. Auburn entered the game with a whole lot of heart and determination to show that this season wasn’t just luck, but that they were truly an amazing team.

The game was back and forth the entire time and with the end of the 4th quarter approaching, the game is tied. Saban challenges the time on the clock and gets an extra second, for what he thinks will give him the chance to win the ball game off a field goal. But the Gus Bus was fueled up and the mastermind had a plan. Chris Davis was put in the end zone just in case the extremely long field goal was short. Which is exactly what happened.

9. “Chris Davis is going to drop back into the end zone in single safety.

Well, I guess if this thing comes up short he can field it and run it out. Alright, here we go. 56-yarder, it's got—no, it does not have the leg. And Chris Davis takes it in the back of the end zone. He'll run it out to the 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 45—There goes Davis! (White shouts "Oh my God!") Davis is going to run it all the way back! Auburn's going to win the football game! Auburn's going to win the football game! He ran the missed field goal back! He ran it back 109 yards! [fans streaming onto the field] They're not going to keep them off the field tonight! Holy Cow! Oh, my God! Auburn wins! Auburn has won the Iron Bowl! Auburn has won the Iron Bowl in the most unbelievable fashion you will ever see! I cannot believe it! 34–28! And we thought 'A Miracle in Jordan-Hare' was amazing! Oh, my Lord in Heaven!' Chris Davis just ran it 109 yards and Auburn is going to the championship game”

10. The National Championship

We hate Florida State, that’s about all I need to say.

11. Toomer’s Lemonade is actually amazing, but the best thing on the menu is the ice cream cookie sandwich.

12. Sky Bar is not worth it on Game Day.

It is so packed you can’t move and are constantly in someone's way. Not to mention it takes about 20 minutes to get a drink.

13. Supper Club will actually close while we are here.

The only place to go late at night and the infamous shot bus will be closing after New Years Eve. It is the oldest bar in Auburn and an all-time classic – a piece of Auburn history for sure.

14. You never actually go to Niffer’s after freshman year

15. You Believe in Auburn and Love it

Auburn has become your home away from home. In fact, this quaint little town has taken a piece of your heart. It has provided a great education while allowing you to enjoy your time in college. It has given you your best friends and many memories that you will remember for the rest of your life.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
