Introverts, we are a quiet bunch. We tend to be focused inward and shut everyone else out. We really don't do it on purpose, we just can't help it sometimes.

1. Meeting new people is the hardest thing you have to do on a daily basis.

New people means a wave of anxiety. This means talking to people without being socially awkward.

2. Extroverts can be extremely intimidating.

They tend to take over the conversation because you can't fathom having that much energy. It is exhausting just thinking about it.

3. Large crowds frighten you.

Too many people...

4. Also, forget about public speaking.

You feel like Mia in "Princess Diaries" before she throws up in front of everyone.

5. You tend to be very chill.

You are usually not overly peppy. It's not that you don't care, it's just that you tend to go with the flow.

6. You are exhausted after a long day of dealing with people.

It's not that you hate people, it's just that you struggle with opening up to people.

7. Because of this, you sometimes struggle in leadership.

Yeah talking to a lot of people, heading a team, kind of makes you have this reaction.

8. You don't want to be alone all the time.

You really do like hanging out with friends but sometimes we like reading a book or having quiet time.

9. People sometimes think you are not engaged because you are so quiet.

When you are introverted, sometimes listening is your way of engaging.

10. You tend to overthink your relationships.

You get paranoid that your friends don't like you, or you said something stupid to a stranger, or you messed up a dinner with your boyfriend. It can get so bad that your head is going to explode and you don't want to talk to people ever again.

11. People don't understand that sometimes a good book or some Netflix can be your idea of a perfect Friday night.

Sometimes it's just really great to sit and chill. Going out can be fun, but this is pretty awesome!

12. Talking on the phone is torture.

Whether it be ordering take out, calling the doctor, or returning a phone call from friends or family we have an irrational fear of the telephone. Texting is good, though.

13. We will leave a party early.

We love you but there is only so much social interact we can handle at once.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
