This semester I have had the pleasure of living with one of my sorority sisters, and my best friend. It has been wonderful, frustrating at times, and such a blast so far. It's just like having a sleepover with your BFF every night! Last semester I had a single room, so this is my first time with a roommate, and let me just tell you, she's the best. Here are 13 reasons why:
1. If she orders a pizza, you can usually steal a slice or five, even when she says she won't share with you. 
2. She doesn't judge you. Even if you have mascara running down your face and your breath smells of tequila and tacos, because she is usually the one who encouraged you all night. 
3. She is always up for a late night run to QT for some donuts and slushies.
4. She takes care of you. Whether you are homesick and need ice cream or have a cold and need some Nyquil, she has a remedy for everything. Almost as good as your mom.
5. She is always there. Whether you need a shoulder to cry on, someone to dance with, a wing woman, or someone to study at Starbucks with, she's always down!
6. She texts you to ask if you are alive when you are two minutes late coming home from work.
7. She loves you despite the fact that you fart more than the average human. 
8. You can talk to her about your weird (sometimes gross) bodily functions instead of consulting WebMD and assuming you have cancer.
9. She supports your decisions no matter what. Even when you tried to pull off a navy shirt with black pants last week.
10. She is your number one fan. She cheers you on any chance she gets. There's no way you could get through statistics for the second time without her moral support. 
11. You guys share the same sleep habits. So staying up until 4 a.m. binge watching "Fuller House" and taking three naps the next day is not an issue. 
12. You guys have the best late night conversations. Anywhere to planning your wedding, dreaming about your future husband, or deciding what sports your kids will play. You share your goals and dreams and greatest ambitions with her. And with any luck she will be right there by your side to watch it all happen one day. 
13.. Most of all, she is much more than your roommate. She's you're best friend.
