"Hello, boys and girls. Hannah Baker here. Live and in stereo."

When I first watched the show, I was a high schooler who felt like, I myself, was a student at Liberty High. Even during the trials, I was right there next to the characters with Hannah Baker more alive than ever before. However, I did not even realize there was a third season let alone another season coming out.

A few months ago when I saw the trailer for the final season of "13 Reasons Why" I was confused. I've already heard the tapes and saw the impact of the character's actions, now what?

So I decided to rewatch the first three seasons and realized just how important this show is. Here are 13 meaningful quotes from the first three seasons of "13 Reasons Why."

1. “You can’t change other people, but you can change yourself.”

Hannah Baker, Season 1

2. “It has to get better. The way we treat each other and look out for each other. It has to get better somehow.”

Clay Jensen, Season 1

3. “Sometimes things just happen to you. They just happen. You can’t help it. But it’s what you do next that counts. Not what happens but what you decide to do about it.”

Hannah Baker, Season 1

4. “Just because you have the picture doesn’t mean you have the whole story.”

Tyler Down, Season 2

5. “You fool yourself into thinking that by keeping things hidden, it makes it easier for you to get by.”

Zach Dempsey, Season 2

6. “Sometimes it seems like no matter what you do, people still see you the way they want to.”

Jessica Davis, Season 2

7. “Keeping it in, that is not brave. Feeling the pain, facing it, that takes courage.”

Olivia Baker, Season 2

8. “When we act out of anger or fear, we can hurt people we don’t mean to hurt.”

Tony Padilla, Season 2

9. “How do we take what hurts most? Take the darkness and turn it into light? I think the answer is we love each other.”

Clay Jensen, Season 2

10. “When you judge someone by their past, it can make that past impossible to escape.”

Ani Achola, Season 3

11. “When people stare at you and talk or they don’t stare but you can tell that they want to, just remember that you know who you are, and they don’t.”

Tyler Down, Season 3

12. “Winning at the cost of who you are, winning at the cost of becoming someone that you hate, means nothing.”

Zach Dempsey, Season 3

13. “I’m a person in a thousand pieces … It’s a long, hard process, but little by little, you start picking up the pieces. And you realize that what you’re making is a mirror. And the more pieces you put together, the more you see yourself.”

Bryce Walker, Season 3

Throughout "13 Reasons Why," we were taught compassion, forgiveness, love, and most importantly the impact that one could have when they stand up for what they believe in.

Hannah Baker deserved better – and after witnessing Bryce Walker's path to redemption which took a fatal turn – I contend that Bryce Walker also deserved better.

Hopefully, the final season will be even more significant than the first three by discussing crucial issues and heavy-hitting storylines.

The reality is, there's no part of life the pandemic hasn't affected. Whether it's your work life, your home life, your social life, or your love life, coronavirus (COVID-19) is wreaking havoc on just about everything — not to mention people's health.

When it comes to romance, in particular, people are all handling things differently and there's no "right way" of making it through, regardless of your relationship status (single, taken, married, divorced, you name it). So, some of Swoon's creators sought out to hear from various individuals on how exactly their love lives have been affected since quarantine began.

5 Things You Need To Know Before You Watch 'Arrested Development' On Netflix

"Her?" Yes, she's an amazing show! (You'll get this joke after you watch the show).

Netflix

"Arrested Development" is an award-winning sitcom that aired for three seasons on Fox beginning in 2003, and then was picked up by Netflix for a fourth season in 2013, and then again for a final season in 2018.

However, it seems to remain one of the world's most underrated and under-appreciated shows of all time. Although this article alone won't be enough to skyrocket the show to Netflix's top 10, I hope that it will open people's eyes to the value and quality of the show.

7 Books That Are NOT In The Young Adult Genre That Will Change Your Life

Young Adult isn't the only genre that exists, so here are seven books that any book lover wanting to try something new will love.

One of the most popular genres in literature that everyone has read at least one book from is Young Adult fiction. Now, I personally can say that, in the past, I have been one of those people that only read from the YA section of the bookstore.
While there is absolutely nothing wrong with just reading one genre, it's good sometimes to venture out of your reading comfort zone into the other book genres of the literary world.

In a previous article, I discussed the importance and power of words. The perfect example of this is literature and its impact on the world. Books have always played a crucial part in human lives, from how we are able to expand our knowledge to how we pass our time.

Celebrities Stealing Designs From Small Fashion Labels Is NOT A Good Look, And They Need To Pay Up

When larger, more established figures or brands steal from lesser-known independent creators, they are taking opportunities away from these creators while also profiting from someone else's work and claiming it as their own.

Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B recently collaborated on their new single "WAP," with the music video also being released on Friday. Both Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B posted photos of themselves on Instagram to celebrate the premiere of "WAP." An independent designer quickly noticed that the rappers' matching tops were copies of a top she had designed last year.

11 Reasons Why Getting A Cat Is The Best Thing You Can Do For Your Mental Health

Cats may mess up your puzzles but they'll always love you unconditionally — as long as you have some catnip, that is.

Scout Guarino

Alright, everyone, it's time to stop spreading the rumor that all cats are mean, aloof, and hate everyone. Like dogs, each cat has its own personality and tendencies. Some like a lot of attention, some like less — each person has to find the right cat for them. As for me, my cats Bienfu and Reptar have seen me at my worst, but they've also helped pull me out of it. They're a constant in my life and they give me the strength to get through the day in spite of my depression, and there's even scientific evidence to support it!
