Spring break is a time when college students can escape their responsibilities and get drunk on the beach with their friends for an entire week. And while it sounds exciting and relaxing and luxurious, it's actually bound to be pretty tragic. But do you and your friends care? Absolutely not, because your hotel is booked, your spring break board on Pinterest is at its prime, and let's be real—it's the only thing getting you through second semester.
Here are 12 thoughts every college student has while waiting for spring break as told by "Parks and Rec":
1. You're already so over school.
2. It's -2 degrees outside and you can't remember the last time you walked to class and your face didn't hurt.
3. Your professors are constantly reminding you of all of the assignments and papers that are due before break.
4. When you start to think about how your spring break bod is nowhere close to being ready.
5. And you have to start reevaluating every life decision you make.
6. Because there's that bathing suit you've had your eye on for weeks now but you refuse to buy it until you lose three pounds.
7. The parties on the weekends can't even prepare you for the craziness you're about to experience.
8. When you finally hit the under 10 days mark.
9. And your friends in the group message remind you that you should probably start packing...
10. ..but you know you won't end up doing it until the night before.
11. When you turn in your last assignment before the big trip.
12. And when it's finally here, you and all your friend are like
Because the waiting is finally over. Your week of sunshine and freedom is just around the corner and you couldn't be more pumped. You pack up the car, pile in with all your friends, and you're on your way to what might be the best (or worst) week of your entire life. Either way, your only thought left by the end of the week is this:
