Boyfriends, Here Are The 11 Things Your Girl Wishes You Did During Her Period

And for your safety, don't refer to her period week as blow job week.

All girls can agree that our period is the worst part of our month. I dread those days going up to my period date and I used to wish for someone to take care of me, while I was curled in a ball dying from cramps.

So guys, here are somethings you can do to help ease your girlfriend's pain and stress level.

1. Run some of her errands for her.

The last thing a girl wants to do on her period is run errands. If you can, go pay that bill for her or go to the store and pick up extra pads and tampons, so if she runs out she doesn't have to get dressed and human.

2. Pick up her food craving, no matter how weird it is.

Sometimes we crave things, do judge or give her shit. If she wants Sheetz, get it. If she wants a hamburger, despite not liking hamburgers, just buy it. She may not even eat it, but it'll mean a lot that you bought it for her.

3. Get her medicine and heating pads.

If you don't have a heating pad, but do have a cat or small dog then just give her one of them. They'll do the job and she'll cuddle her fur baby. Win, win. But don't get Midol (unless it's the PM so she can sleep) because that shit doesn't work. Get her Ibuprofen because that actually helps for more than two hours. The heating pad or fur baby, she'll also appreciate because it will ease the cramps.

4. Let her sleep in.

Don't wake her up to go to the gym or something stupid like that. She needs sleep. Her body is trying to make up for blood loss. She's tired and honestly, she'll be in a bad mood. Let her sleep.

5. Cuddle with her.

Sometimes she wants love, other times she may want to be alone. She will tell you what she wants... if she doesn't, just ask her! More often then not, she wants to be cuddled though.

6. Have sex with her, if that helps her cramps.

If neither of you are in the mood, then definitely don't have sex, but if you want her and she's game, then go for it. Blood can be cleaned up and it really helps with cramps. It's not such a terrible taboo, so don't worry about what others will say.

7. Give her extra time with you.

More likely than anything, she will want time with you watching tv (let her watch her shows and don't complain) or laying in bed listening to music or ding something totally mundane. But just spend time with her. Cancel your plans with your friends for the night and just love her.

8. Buy her comfy sweats or something that'll make her smile.

It can be something practical like sweats or something cute and sweet like a teddy bear. promise she'll smile and be happy you thought of her and tried to make her smile.

9. Don't get mad at her mood swings, she really can't help it.

I know girls can be a little crazy on their period, but just go with the flow (excuse the pun). If she's mad because you left the milk carton open or something, just say you are sorry and you'll do better next time. Chances are it's not you, it's her raging hormones.

10. Help her avoid other people she may not feel like seeing.

When her friends won't accept that her period is in town, help her out with cancelling plans or ditching on plans she already made. Most likely her friends will understand, but if her work is bothering her, call out for her. Just help her with avoiding social plans when she feels like dying and is in pain.

11. And for your safety, don't refer to her period week as blow job week.

It's not funny and she may attack you...for good reason.

Just help with with anything she needs. Bleeding out of your vagina is never fun and it's almost always painful, respect that and her, appreciating what women go through because she may get the first two days off during her period (if she's lucky) but she'll have to deal with it for the rest of the week without having someone there when she needs love and assurance. Just make an effort, even if it's a text sating you love her.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
