It's so worth it though.

I have watched football ever since I was a little kid. Therefore, I have watched many games, and I absolutely love it. However, there are times that I hate it. Here are 11 Reasons why I have a love-hate relationship with football.

1.) When a huge game is being played and you feel like you can't breathe/you're about to have a heart attack.

The pain and lack of oxygen hurt so much, but it feels so good.

2.) When your team is playing horribly, and you yell so much that you start to lose your voice.

I can't help it that I sound like a man after a game. No judgment zone here.

3.) Your nails look horrendous after a close game, but you don't mind if it was a good outcome.

You can understand why nail salons hate me.

4.) When your team loses it feels like someone died, but you watch them next week anyway.

A little bit of your soul leaves after a loss.

5.) Listening to all of the smack talking for months before the big rivalry game.

Eye roll.

6.) If someone likes your rival, on the day of the big game, you have to pretend like you hate them.

If you still act like you like them you will be shunned by your fan base.

7.) Sometimes you scare people with how crazy you are during games, but it's part of who you are.

I'M SORRY I'M SO LOUD RIGHT NOW I JUST REALLY LOVE FOOTBALL, OKAY?!?

8.) Looking up scores from a game becomes something you do often because you just have to know if there were any big upsets.

I feel like Buddy in the Elf when he says to his dad, "I'll call you back in five minutes!" That's me checking score updates.

9.) You have to schedule events around games because you will feel left out if you miss it.

No, Susan, I cannot go shopping with you Saturday. I have football to watch. Don't ask such silly things.

10.) It's almost a deal breaker when your significant other doesn't like the same team as you (almost).

How could someone so great like such a crappy football team?? Just kidding.

11.) If you miss kickoff when going to a game, it feels like you just missed the best party around.

It's just unacceptable.

Although these are some serious struggles, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love football and will always love football. I hope everyone understands.

Love,

Your Female Football Fanatic

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
