If you have ever worked at a golf course, you'll know that the golfers are very blunt and can be inappropriate 99 percent of the time. As a cart girl or server you see this every day, but driving around the golf course can have its perks as well. It's not all bad. You get to be outside most of the time. Also being a cart girl can be one of the best paying part-time jobs you can find. Here are some of the struggles that cart girls face on the links.
1. When the golfers carts are blocking the cart path and you can't move
2. How we feel when the golfers take way too many practice swings
3. When you aren't paying attention and you hit a curb
4. When you can't tell if they are waving you on or waving you to come here
5. What you really look like while driving around the course
6. When you catch them peeing in the woods and they don't do anything about it
7. Driving around like
8. Asking them if they need anything and they respond by saying "What are you calling me a bad golfer?"
9. When golfers say, "You should probably just follow us around on your cart all day"
10. When golfers ask "If I buy more do I get a discount?"
11. Or when they ask if you have any aim juice in your cart
Being a cart girl will always be my favorite job that I have had. The family and friends you make at this job are what keeps me going in life. The bond you make with other cart girls is a bond like no other. Together, you go through the pain of driving around 18 holes during the cold, hot, wet, and the beautiful days. They share the pain of the mildly to very inappropriate sayings the golfers tell you. You learn to say no in more than a hundred different ways when someone asks you out. Cart girls forever!!!
Thanks to @cartgirlprobs for some of the ideas. Y'all rock.
