There's no place like New England
From its strikingly beautiful landscapes, to its rich history, New England is definitely a unique place to call home. So unique, that it has developed its own excessive and somewhat perplexing culture and vocabulary. Here are a few obvious indicators that someone is from New England.
1. They say "wicked" every other word.
Anyone from New England, or more specifically Massachusetts, is most likely guilty of saying the word "wicked" when describing just about anything. Although it is massively popular in the northeast, in other parts of the country, people cannot seem to wrap their heads around the phrase.
2. They're constantly complaining about how badly they need Dunkin' Donuts.
Growing up in New England, it's practically impossible to live anywhere that isn't within 5 minutes of a Dunks. Surprisingly, people in other states do not run on Dunkin' Donuts quite like New Englanders.
3. They would give their left arm for a chance to meet Tom Brady.

Not only is Tom Brady the most attractive football player in the NFL, he also has four Superbowl rings. If there's one thing to take away from Tom Brady's suspension, it's that Patriots fans do not mess around when it comes to the GOAT. Pretty much anyone who's a true New Englander will support Brady no matter what.
4. They're unimpressed by the foliage.
5. They own at least one article of clothing from Vineyard Vines.

Whether they're from Chatham, MA or rural western MA, New Englanders love to pretend they're straight off the boat from Martha's Vineyard and rock Vineyard Vines clothing.
6. They don't care about the weather report, because it's never right anyways.

When it's 85 degrees in late September or snowing on Halloween, there is no point in checking the weather report in New England.
7. They aren't phased by snow, the cold, or the occasional frozen hair after a morning shower.
True New Englander's do not feel cold, because they are used to about 10 feet of snow per week and below freezing temperatures all winter.
8. It's the bubbler, not the water fountain.
Another New England word is the "bubbler," any true Massachusetts resident assumes a water fountain is a massive fountain in front of a fancy building or park.
9. They probably own a pair of Bean Boots, and an L.L. Bean Backpack with their initials monogramed.

With many L.L. Bean's close by, it's common for New England residents to own all of the typical L.L. Bean items. Growing up in New England, if you do not own a monogramed backpack from L.L. Bean, you are a misfit.
10. They hate the Yankees more than they love Tom Brady.

Enough said.
