“Thank you.”

It’s a simple phrase that means so much, and yet we don’t say it nearly as often as we should. Our lives are filled with countless blessings, most of which we take for granted every day. Even on our worst days, we have something to be grateful for. So this Thanksgiving, take a moment to think about all the things you’re thankful for, both big and small. Here are just a few to consider:

  1. Family
  2. God
  3. Friends
  4. Coffee
  5. Good health
  6. A place to call home
  7. Waking up this morning
  8. Sight, sound, taste, touch and smell
  9. Warm winter coats
  10. Pumpkin pie
  11. Apple pie
  12. Turkey
  13. Sweet potato casserole
  14. And while we’re at it, chicken nuggets from Chick-Fil-A
  15. Okay, all food
  16. Having enough food
  17. Weekends
  18. Safety and security
  19. The beautiful colors of autumn leaves
  20. Google
  21. The ability to think, learn and grow
  22. Love
  23. Money in the bank (even if it’s not as much as you’d like)
  24. Lip balm
  25. Netflix
  26. Candles that smell like Christmas
  27. Sweater weather
  28. Sunshine
  29. The stars in the sky

  31. Moments when you completely lose track of time
  32. Pets who love you unconditionally
  33. The opportunity to get an education
